I am going through the process of down sizing to another home locally, and chose a property from the wide selection of houses for sale at Chancellors Estate Agents. I met the Senior Sales Manager Mr Ian Henry at the property and he was polite, professional and friendly, keeping up the required Covid _19 conditions that we all must respect., His introduction to the property showed that he had done his homework, and Ian could answer any of our questions with ease, to reassure my family, and whilst my daughter was unable to visit on the first date"to pick her room" Ian has kindly arranged a second visit to make my entire family happy with the move and subsequent purchase. Alice has provided me with a fantastic service in my search for a new home. She took time to get to know me and what I needed. With so few properties available at the time, she helped me resist just buying something for the sake of it. Bizarrely she even encouraged me not to look at things that she thought would be inappropriate for me! She was right. Honest, genuine, enthusiastic, funny and caring. I first went to view the property and was introduced to Kirsty. This was an easy process and her knowledge on the property was fantastic. Kirsty has also been really helpful throughout the whole process and not only kept me updated but if I had any questions or questions to the vendor she was always happy to help. I've also interacted with Jordan a few times via phone and email, he was also fantastic with updates and answers to questions. Overall a really pleasant experience, always kept in the loop.

My partner and I are looking for bungalows for sale in Carterton and we approached Chancellor's Estate Agents to see if they could help. We were added to their mailing list so suitable properties could be sent to us and we could arrange a viewing. Several times Jorden Horne organised the viewings, then at the last minute, on the day of the viewing, he rang us to say they had been cancelled as the property was no longer available due to it being under offer. Since he must have known the property was unavailable for this reason, in advance, we felt it would have been kinder to contact us as soon as he knew rather than leave it until the last minute. Very disappointed with the communication from him and contacting him was not easy either. We left message with his colleagues, but he never contacted us about any a available bungalows available again. They need to improve their communication and general Service.

I have used Chancellors for a while now and there have been some ups and downs but I have found that when you develop a working relationship with a named individual it makes a real difference In particular, Shannon Seymour has done an amazing job in trying to résolve recent issues. She has liaised closely with the tenants, us and the contractors making sure issues were resolved quickly and efficiently. She is courteous and really helpful. I should add that Charmaine Smith was also great!!

Well where do you start. Firstly this is not a reflection on the Sales team. They have been pleasurable to communicate with but little they can do in terms of letting. Office Manager????????? Who ? THE LETTINGS TEAM ARE A JOKE. TIMOTHY IN PARTICULAR!!!!! NO RESPONSE, LITTLE CORRESPONDANCE AND POOR COMMUNICATION. The background. A young couple apply to rent a property. The young lady is 28 weeks pregnant and looking to up size due to arrival and a growing family. Usual viewings etc takes place and an application is applied for to rent a property. All the paperwork etc is submitted and the couple await the response from letting team and landlord after compulsory checks are complete. During this period Chancellors are advising the couple to hand notice of termination to their current letting agreement with another landlord. They DO NOT take this advice until 100% the letting agreement is signed by all parties. This was a struggle as the letting team did not know a particular body part from their elbow. 15 Days after signed agreement an email is received from Chancellors informing the couple that the landlord has withdrawn. NO REASON OR EXPLANATION. JUST AN EMAIL. NO PHONE CALL FROM LETTING TEAM OFFERING ANY OTHER PROPERTIES OR ADVICE!!!!! JUST AN EMAIL. There is now a young couple 28 weeks pregnant having handed in their Notice to terminate soon to be homeless. GREAT WORK CHANCELLORS!!!!!!!!!!

Chancellors asked several times to come and update the valuation on our property. We arranged for 1400hrs today. At 1410 nobody had arrived and so I called the office ….. 1st lie - I was told that I had cancelled the appointment by the lad who answered the phone, no I hadn't, why would I be ringing to find out where Chris was? 2nd lie - Oh we tried to ring you several times this morning to check you would be in......that's strange as I was in all morning and have no missed calls!! Its better to tell the truth than to try and come up with pathetic excuses which can be checked. I have told them I have no faith in them and to take me off their books. Very disappointing service after my wife and I spent hours tidying the inside and outside of the house.
