Just had a very awful call with the owner of Ushers Estate agents, Michael. He was rude, condescending and not a team player. All I was asking for was a routine update on a sale and unfortunately received quite the opposite.

I would like to thank all the team at Usher's for the terrific work they did, enabling me to sell my home quickly and achieve the price I wanted. This is a family owned and run business with all the benefits that provides. From my first meeting with Michael (the owner), who was down to earth, open and honest with me about the price my home might achieve on the market (not telling me an unachievable selling price, just to get my business), took professional photos of my property and presented it extremely well online. From there my dealings with Stephanie and Kassie, who organised viewings and constantly kept me updated and gave me a great deal of confidence that they had everything covered. The result, the house sold quickly, for the price Michael said I would achieve and all for a reasonable and fair fee. We used Ushers to sell our house last year (2020) and they were absolutely brilliant. So quick to respond to any emails or telephone calls and really helpful, over and above what we expected. From the moment we decided to go with them they got the ball rolling straight away (even during Covid) and had us up for a sale within a couple of weeks. The selling process was very smooth, we did the actual walk arounds with buyers which worked out really well as we could answer any questions the buyers had immediately but Ushers sorted all the appointments and dealt with any communication. We contacted Ushers based on their reviews (after another local estate agent didn't even get back to us) and we're very glad that we did. Michael arrived at the arranged time and was very friendly, professional and sympathetic. After valuing mum's property he offered much needed advise & information about selling our house - with us being first time sellers this was much appreciated, and he emailed the valuation the same day as he'd promised. The fact that the valuation fee would deducted from the cost of selling our property, be it this year, in five years time, or whenever is great, and Ushers rates are the lowest we've seen. This is the second property I've sold with Ushers, having sold a flat years ago. They welcomed me back like an old friend. Selling a property during a global pandemic wasn't the best timing of mine, but everyone at Ushers was reassuring, professional and fantastic throughout the whole process.
