Stephanie was absolutely lovely to us, and guided us throughout the whole process - being patient when we had lots of questions! Decided to use Ushers to sell our house in Morden after they did a great job selling my Mum's house last year. The day after the house was put online, Ushers arranged a viewing which resulted in an offer! Michael and Stephanie from Ushers were great at keeping in touch with me and the buyer to make sure the sale was progressing and we completed just over 3 months after it was put up for sale. You hear negative stories about estate agents but Ushers is a real gem and go above and beyond to get things done for you as smoothly as possibly. We went to Ushers as they had been the estate agents when we purchased our property and I remembered them being very helpful and easy to work with. Michael came to visit our property, talking through the process of selling very clearly and answering the questions we had. Had a strangely bad experience as a new Landlord. Got told that my expected rental is unreasonable and our area is not great. Also was told that my house has lost value [without any checks] in last 6 years. Went to another Estate agent and the house is now listed for 40% higher rent than Usher's assessment. Michael and his team deserve nothing but praise for their professionalism and impeccable client focused approach. From our very first meeting he was attentive and personable, taking the time to walk around with me, offering recommendations about the market and the best way to manage my house sale. Service, experience and communication was outstanding from Michael and his team. With it being a family business you benefit from receiving a far more personal service. Michael's expertise is a cut above the rest. The assistance he provided in his advice on what was required to be done in order for my property to be ready for the rental market was detailed, specific and demonstrated his great knowledge in such matters. Michael is a friendly & successful independent estate agent, that I have used a couple of times now. He offers free premium upgrades giving better listings on Rightmove etc. using professional photos showing the property at its best. The completion of the sale was delayed due to needing to obtain probate, but Michael kept the buyer on board for almost a year when exchange and completion went through. All along Michael gave regular updates. All this and his fee remains very competitive.
