My Facebook personal account has been disabled because they said my linked instagram account violated their policies. It is NOT my instagram account and doesn't even appear to be a valid account on instagram. Spent hours going round in circles getting nowhere. It said to login to the instagram account to appeal. How are you supposed to do that? I suspect i've been hacked, ZERO support from Facebook to get this resolved. Can anyone from Facebook tell me HOW to communicate with them to get the fake instagram account removed and my personal facebook account, which i've had for 12 years!!!! restored? I will happily remove this review if somebody can help me!!!!!!

Facebook has got extremely boring with so many ads even when you report it to them instead of them doing something about it they send you even more ads. So much for them caring about your privacy. When they say you won't see these ads again 12 hrs later you get double what you had before. You also say something as a joke with lol or lmao they block you for 30 days. But people get away with so much more than what you said. I HATE FACEBOOK NOW with a passion. Most of my contacts don't see my posts. Disgraceful disgusting

Ive been with facebook a number of years. Suddenly out of the blue, I have been suspended for breach of protocol. Haven't a clue why. I use it and pay for ads for storytelling. Got a quantity of abuse at one point and reported them and they are still on FB. A FACELESS organisation. No means of contacting the admin, just sent round in circles. Don't respond to emails, Cannot telephone anyone. In recent times I get that many adverts I do not want. Tired of trying to block them. If I ever get the account back, I will be removing my account and never return to this or instagram and find other means of advertising.

Facebook account recovery is a joke. Endless loops and nothing works. I have all the evidence to recover an account but can’t do anything with them. The moment I try to “secure my account “ or create a new password it just loops back or doesn’t work. The most frustrating thing is that there is not a single form or an email address where you can escalate these matters that can cause really harmful consequences for the hacked account and for all people who are “friends” with said account. I have begged for help several times to get my account sorted out , I keep getting posts in Italian even thought it's set for English. I have left posts on their Facebook page, in their help section, twitter page but still no reply but what hurts the most when my sister died over 5 years ago I tried to delete her account but it wouldn't let me. I couldn't find no where to report a death. Every time her name comes up with her photo I cry my eyes out we were super close being her carer for 25 years . Account verification is not fit for purpose and AI / inability to talk to a human/email to resolve this is just ridiculous.I created a personal account in order to create a business page for the company I am the operating / digital marketing director for, I created a business page and before I had done anything else my FB account was disabled and business page restricted.I had broken no terms or policies and previously only used other forms of social media. I appealed and it asked for a selfie, I supplied and it was banned forever with no recourse. How can they verify my image and name of the personal profile is genuine, if they don't have my I.D? It's ridiculous they do not provide you the ability to upload your I.D against your personal name to verify and prove the account is genuine and you're a real person. This is a case of where AI is just ban happy and gets rid of legitimate accounts and then you have no way to rectify the issue as it's all dealing with robots. If this is how Facebook works these days, I can see why they are a dying platform.

Presumably there are millions of people who enjoy having a FB account, but I am not one of them. A couple of weeks ago FB deleted my FB account, without explanation, and in my opinion without justification. To date FB has not responded to any of the several emails that sent to various FB email links including: appeals, support, or service. It appears that my issue is not unique and is essentially normal. Bad enough that my FM account was deleted, but even worse is that my MP listings are still there, thus punishing both me and account holders that FB apparently likes. So if a FB account holder responds to one of several of my still existing MP posts, they will never know that their response had gone into cyberspace, and neither will I, thus punishing both me (the apparent guilty party) and account holder that FB likes. 15,000 FB employees reporting to a single algorithm? Hopefully not.
