TrustpilotFacebook/Meta impeding sales of my small business
Zero stars and impeding sales of my business. My small business's Facebook Page and Business Portfolio were taken over by an unauthorized third party after a phishing attempt. Despite following every official recovery process Meta publishes, including their own AI support chat confirming the unauthorized access occurred, I was repeatedly told "we cannot resolve this at this time" and given the same broken links in a loop. There is no functional path to a human agent for this kind of business account fraud. Weeks later, the issue remains unresolved. The hackers are still actively using the account under my name, and I am now disputing new fraudulent charges to my card daily. I've provided this evidence, including Meta's own admission of the fraud, to an attorney handling a class action related to this exact pattern of Meta failing to help hacked account holders regain access.

TrustpilotFacebook is swarming with scammers
Facebook is swarming with scammers, including some adverts! especially those backed and supported by a company called Digistore24! I was recently scammed by one with a fake "pope', which was backed by them! My Bank confirmed that this was a scam, but Paypal havn't understood this..also all these so-called 'manifestation programmes' are scamming, taking unauthourised money from me without my consent! It's unbelievable how they trick us like that..

GoogleAvoid Garth Mills if you value your time, money, or sanity.
I trusted them to sell my home, the same property they sold to me 5 years ago, and was met with nearly a year of delays, silence, and failure.
They listed the property using outdated photos and left out key upgrades I’d made.
After zero viewings, they advised a price drop, despite valuing it themselves.
Two buyers pulled out: one after months of delay, another after a verbal survey I was never shown.
Surveys were done without my knowledge. I was constantly left chasing updates.
Now they’ve demanded £180+VAT to remove the listing, after they failed to sell it three times.
Their mismanagement left me financially stuck on a variable-rate mortgage, paying inflated bills with no support.
Unprofessional, unaccountable, and not to be trusted, even if you’ve worked with them before.
Reply
To clarify and correct your response:
There were only a handful of viewings at the start. When I rang for advice, your office told me to drop the price, despite your own valuation being higher. I followed that advice in good faith, but I was the one left carrying the consequences.
I was contacted directly by surveyors to arrange access, yet your office repeatedly didn’t seem to know why they were coming, or even when they were coming. I accept that survey outcomes belong to the buyer, but as the selling agent, it was your role to at least chase updates and clarify issues so the sale could progress smoothly. Instead, I was left with dismissive responses that gave the impression it wasn’t your concern.
On the last survey, I was told verbally that asbestos was flagged. I immediately emailed your office to clarify that the surveyor had since informed me it was mica, not asbestos. At that stage you were still representing me, the property was on the market, your sign was still up, and your outlay fee hadn’t yet been paid, but you chose to ignore that email and the follow-up. That dismissal meant no attempt was made to resolve the situation or protect the sale.
You point to “30 emails” as proof of communication, but volume is not the same as clarity. The reality is I was constantly chasing updates, receiving vague answers, or silence. This is exactly the lack of communication I have highlighted.
Regarding the £180 outlay fee: I was always aware there would be some form of admin charge. What I find unacceptable is that, despite the catalogue of problems, ignored emails, failed sales, and stress caused, you still pursued that fee and issued me an invoice. That shows no accountability or goodwill whatsoever.
Most importantly, in your final email to me directly you stated I should not contact you again, and that any further communication should go through my solicitor. That left me with no choice but to leave a public review. For you to now claim I never raised concerns with you directly is disingenuous.
Throughout this entire process there has been no accountability, no apology, and no sign of professionalism. Every stage has been marked by blame-shifting, ignored emails, and dismissive responses. Even your reply here shows no willingness to take responsibility, only to deflect. That is exactly why I stand by my review.

Darren,
Its a pity that you have felt the need to reach out to google to express your concerns over listing a property for sale through GARETH Mills Estate Agents. I am always contactable via email and through phone call however, I have no correspondence of you reaching out direct to me with any concerns you may have had.
On reflection of your review, the upgrades you mention within the property were added in as per your request, the correspondence regarding a price reduction is correct this was suggested to generate more footfall through your property which was approved by you. As explained by my office we would never see sight of a survey report because a potential purchaser has paid for this and same was confirmed by your solicitor, regarding updates and communication from my office I have checked through emails from my team and can see over 30 emails sent to you in the period that your property was listed for sale.
Explained again the £180 is the outlay fee to cover the advertising of your home ie board, website listing etc
However I appreciate your decision to reach out to google for a response and would like to take the time to personally wish you all the best for the future.

Trustpilotfrom Facebook to Scambook
From an initial good idea, Facebook has gone so greedy it has lost its attraction. However, the biggest issue is how they have opened themselves up to every scam and con there is. You cannot trust any of the adverts, though I am sure there will be some that are legitimate, there are far too many fake products and scam subscriptions that you do not know about until they start taking cash from your bank 2 months later. You can threaten them with legal action and they do give the money back as they do not want you going through the bank. Facebook will let anyone advertise for a price. There is even porn adverts.

TrustpilotA CIA-/BlackRock-company that has…
A CIA-/BlackRock-company that has always been among the worst of the planet: From 2020 clear support of the COVID-19-HOAX and the linked genocide (ROME STATUTE, written by an expert in international law) - among the first who deliberatly followed the industry represantative "WHO". Horrible UI/UX. Awful contents. Bad intentions. Money is channeled from the world to the US ("advertisement"). As our experience shows, one can set up an ad campaign and define a target group. However, this target group is completely ignored: Financial losses are systematically generated and the means are called "AI" ("Advantage+ Audience"). When someone intentionally and systematically causes financial losses, this is generally called "fraud" (to be confirmed by a court). When one contacts the support, they claim that they have just "switched off" the AI for the respective ads account. Then one spends more money, more money is systematically maldirected by the AI algorithms that cannot be switched off anymore. They are liars. They are scammers. They operate a fraudulent platform. They block you from contacting the support and their fantasic AI sends you the very same "How satisfied are you?" question 100 times in the support chat where staff members just lied to you - if you react 100 times and ask for human support: This is how advanced and smart they really are. BOYCOTT BLACKROCK.

Total censorship. I got penalty for allegedly violating rules. The reason they pointed was that i was promoting terrorist organization. In fact it was the situation was reversed. I published you tube interview with expert of islamists terrorism. Not only i was not promoting terrorism, but i was rising awareness for existing one. I required review and report. None was executed. Basically they accuse of something unfairly and they do not take responsibility for their action. How is this human rights protected? How is this social justice, They act as dictators under false pretenses and they actually prevent fighting terrorism and free information!

TrustpilotSeriously Don't Get It
Why on Earth on the America's Got Talent Facebook page and let me remind you which is a complete family show type allow a complete frontal nudity foreign female touching her breast exposed front and center in the comments? It was one of them posts that had a link or bubble like a long horizontal link(not sure technically what it's called) attached. Granted, even though the comment was posted close to the bottom of the thread I had reported it for sexual content and actually I was very surprised that it actually was allowed to stay so all I could do was just hide the comment!

Then tried to say they didnt do top coats at all as nails were wet. Then she apparently didnt understand english. What a cheek! Will not go back for bad service.

TrustpilotClear Againdows, Hereford This company is not at all professional…
In my opinion, this company is not at all professional and their communications were very poor. I placed an order in July 2025 for some remedial work on my extension. In August 2026 the work had still not been completed. This was due to the fact that the item required was obsolete. I had been telephoning them regularly and repeatedly during the intervening months. Why did they not tell me this before? Why did they not offer an alternative? As you can imagine this caused me considerable anxiety and stress. I have now arranged for the work to be completed by another company. I must add that the incomplete work was not included in the final invoice.

TrustpilotFacebook has become frustrating to use
Facebook has become frustrating to use. There are too many unnecessary notifications, confusing settings, and changes to the interface that make basic features harder to find. The platform also needs to do a better job with customer support and dealing with spam, scams, and fake accounts. It feels like the user experience has gotten worse over time and there’s a lot that could be improved.

GoogleWe bought a property in January 2025 through Gareth Mills and the experience from me initially approaching the company through to completion was outstanding. Gareth himself was excellent at the initial stage of discussing what we were looking for through to negotiating between the sellers and ourselves to agree a price and other details.
Karen who is in charge of after sales kept me sane as there were complications not helped by the seller’s solicitor. Karen was fabulous at reassuring us, knowing our individual circumstances in a friendly reassuring way. I highly recommend Gareth Mills Estate agents and would go to them first every time.

I am out of town, at my 2nd home. I am using my laptop. I cannot get past the ridiculous incessant and perpetual "prove you're not a robot" show. I am not certain how to play the damn game!! Does a photo of a bicycle include the person on it? I did it a dozen times and finally gave up! Totally ridiculous! They should be so careful when other countries create fake accounts to sway our opinions or scam us with product sales.

TrustpilotMandMAussiesofNorthCarolina-Hip Dysplasia
I looked into getting a puppy from MandMAussiesofNorthCarolina previously named MandMAussiesofMississippi. Dr. Mary Holly Castro owns MandMAussiesofNorthCarolina, now in Florida. After looking for a second Aussie puppy, I saw their GoFundMe page they started for their dog, Nola. They have on instagram they bred Nola for multiple litters without doing any hip testing first--which is the bare minimum for any responsible breeding program. It turns out Nola didn't get checked until she was three and she was then diagnosed with Grade III Hip Dysplasia, the most severe form there is. This was done by a now licensed DVM! The OFA has charts posted on their website that says a female with Grade III Hip Dysplasia paired with a male with Good (Passing) OFA hips still produces 31.5% puppies with hip dysplasia, meaning a litter of 9 will have 3 puppies with hip dysplasia. That's IF they tested the male's hips. At AKC puppy prices, two or more litters that they had from her could have been used to replace Nola's hips multiple times over. So why wait six years and then ask complete strangers to pay for it on GoFundMe? To me, it's a massive red flag regarding the ethics of this program.

TrustpilotVery disappointing experience with…
Very disappointing experience with Instagram and Facebook support. Genuine accounts are being suspended repeatedly without proper explanation, while connected accounts also get disabled automatically. The appeal system feels broken and there is almost no real human support available. Meta relies too heavily on AI moderation, which is creating false suspensions and endless verification loops for users worldwide. Even paying customers using Meta ads and promotions are not receiving fair treatment or proper customer care. This situation is damaging trust in the platform and causing unnecessary stress for genuine users and businesses globally.

MARKETPLACE - out of nowhere - stopped me selling an item saying there strange activity on my account - WHAT they give no information and just ask me to PROVE my identity - well they have already had proof of my identity WHY would they need it again - I only have 4 ads running and my account has all privacy boxes ticked so there can be no dodgy activity on my account - buts its OK facebook cos there are other platforms - Friday Ads, Gumtree to name a few - I am NOT giving them my id AGAIN. FB has become a cesspit imo anyway.
