Facebook is infested with lots of…

Facebook is infested with lots of scammers. I have recently tried to report to Facebook about a person identity by the name of Justin Tan (originally from Kuala Lumpur and may be residing in Singapore now). Scammers have been using his photos to set up just about 8 different accounts and claimed to be a doctor. Many ladies had fell into his traps and some had managed to post in one of the account warning others about this "pig butchering scam". Facebook is not taking off their accounts because there was no explicit photos are found (that's how they replied me and there was no further area for me to explain to them and direct them to fund these scammers)! In order words, Facebook is not taking responsibility on their incapability to detect fraudulent accounts. At the end, scammers are having good and profitable time in this platform! Just wish Facebook can take serious and active steps to eliminate fake and fraudulent accounts from being created, to at least stop the world from infested with these crooks!

Why should I give them even ONE star

Why should I give them even ONE star? I tried to open an account, gave up my e-mail, password, got a greeting message, on first log-in a message popped up: your account has been suspended. WHAT?So I sent them the selfie they wanted (why - makes no sense, as nothing to compare it with), I was promised they'd get back within 24 hours. That was two days ago.btw, no drama, I've lived without facebook all those years, I will happily continue, already asked the person to contact me via Signal, they sent the invite, we already spoke.I guess this hilarious facebook experience just proves what I 'kinda' knew all the time :)

Review on facebook

Review on facebookIntroductionFacebook: Registering with FacebookFacebook is one of the biggest social media services in the world, allowing billions of users around the world to connect. It was launched in2004 and changed the way we communicate, share information, and connect with friends and businesses. ChatGPT can be used for many personal and professional development benefits with challenges and limitations. Here are some of the important aspects of Facebook advantages and disadvantages1. Connective: The Facebook app enables users to connect with friends, family and more, no matter the distance, creating community and relationship.2 It's a popular communication tool because users can share their daily update, photos, and videos.Opportunity for Business: marketing tools, other advertising options, direct engagement with customers via pages and groups.Event Planning: The platform streamlines event management, enabling users to organize events,, and handle RSVPs.InterestsCategories: Users may join groups based on interests, hobbies, or professions, facilitating collaboration and networking.Cons of FacebookStale Content: With the fast-paced nature of newsfeeds, posts can quickly become outdatedSocial Media Fatigue: Some users may experience overload, feeling pressured to constantly post and engage, leading to fatigue on the platform.Risks: Due to the way the platform is designed, it can be too easy to use, leading to excessive screen time, and reduced productivity.Fake News: Facebook has long had a problem with false information and fake news shared on the platform, leading to questions about the reliability of information shared there.** : Users may get frustrated with the algorithm that decides what content fills their can deprive readers of alternative perspectives.ConclusionAll in all, Facebook is still marketing, but users should be aware of its limitations. Zero support = 0 accountability

Facebook has zero support options, therefore there is also no accountability. I created an account on september 27th 2024, My account is in the appeal stage for whatever reason, they claim that the review should take just over "a day" today is December 15th and I still have the same screen stating I only have so many days to appeal, I do not appreciate Meta wasting my time, they have not emailed me, the only thing that they did do is show that I have submitted for appeal. This is rediculous and I have lost all interest in benefitting this platform. I actually would consider any other that is not in cahoots with this company. they are a cesspit of degenerates that I do not desire to do business with anymore. Honestly the entire purpose of me trying to make an account was to keep an eye on what my loved ones are up to, trying to keep them safe and here this company is with a stop sign and they are not budging. I did the ridiculous selfie and turned my head for them to review and finally here I am telling all you new friends of mine that this company is not worth your time, I cannot believe that they continue to profit and here they are blocking my profile while simultaneously people who are pretending to be country musicians and running romance scams are operating with impunity. I believe that if Meta went away people would be closer and more productive besides. I am actually happy that they gave me the motivation to do this wonderful review and I hope that someone will find it useful

When Ghanian women decide to try and…

When Ghanian women decide to try and scam British men, if they don't get what they want they can shut your account down. This is laxed, ignorant and darn right careless on behalf of Facebook. I never wanted to come back to this site, but Facebook kept at me until i rejoined and now for the life of me I can't get my data off Facebook. Facebook you are worse than scum, you will scavenge the ground until there's nothing left. Please remove all my data from your site.Girl: Hello (on Messenger, that's gone too)Me: How You?Girl: endat nh (I think I get the picture) Approx 18:00hrsby the time I got downstairs I could not log into Facebook anymore. Facebook you are rapidly fall into the realms of becoming the sum of the earth.

A terrible platform

I can't recommend making an account on here lately. It's been getting ridiculous. As an LGBTQ individual, I've been seeing homophobia put on my timeline with "We think you might find this interesting." No, Facebook, I don't. I also see frequent amounts of misinformation, which can get people killed, along with violent hate speech. Facebook allows scammers to advertise products such as fake clothing stores or items that are not of the quality the pictures show. To clarify, Zuckerberg has sold people's private data to others all over the world not once, not twice, but three times. There could be a scammer out there right now using your info to scam people, and you wouldn't even know. I also find it hilarious how Facebook has been known to listen in on your conversations and yet somehow they can't even give you the right targeted ads.Facebook also pushes content onto my feed that I have absolutely no interest in, such as Harry Potter. Especially since Rowling has formed a hate group, and having trans friends, why would I be interested in that? Lastly, since all of the reports are bot-reviewed, nothing you report ever gets taken down. I've seen all sorts of violence toward LGBTQ people on here, and none of it is ever removed. Since hate has been becoming more like Dog whistles bots can't pick up on that.Do I even need to mention how theirs so much AI content on here that's being pushed by Bot accounts?Facebook is a platform for racist conspiracy boomers that's in desperate need of a new CEO and a re-opening as with time this platform will fall out of style

Destroyed the Contests, communications, studies, work, mental health... YT Science4All video reference at the bottom of the review.

Because of Facebook and Instagram (so Meta now, Facebook having bought Instagram by force and threats from a certain Zuckerberg towards the CEOs of Instagram), more and more contests (to win gifts, vouchers, trips, etc.) are no longer done on separate websites, on site in stores, etc., but ONLY on social networks, especially Facebook or Instagram where you are obliged to like the publication, the page, comment and quote 1 friend or 2 friends or even 3 or more!!!I had noticed that, this year, a pharmacy chain, then a shopping center changed the rules of its contests (advent calendar), previously, clicks on boxes on a separate website, were transformed into contests, with the obligation to have a VALID Facebook or Instagram account, to like, comment, etc., and especially to quote 2 or 3 VALID FRIENDS, EVERY DAY!!!!Already I was forced to have a Facebook, WhatsApp and Instagram account to communicate, send photos, documents, etc., for my work and my higher education, with my colleagues and students, without going through competing social networks, separate communication tools, etc., the contests, to win gifts are gradually disappearing. And how do you name friends when you don't have any, when you're lonely????? How do you play these contests without having to have a Facebook or Instagram account????Bravo Mark Zuckerberg (entangled in scandals, even genocides like in Myanmar), you have enslaved the whole world (except the countries that had the courage to block them!) under your feet, I hope that Tr*mp will send you to prison for the rest of your life, it is a multinational that, like the GAFAM, must be completely dismantled, having become too powerful than countries, democracies, etc.Nobody has realized that these tech multinationals have become the masters of the world, we must open our eyes and react, mental health and the entire society is in danger. We were fine in the past, before the tech giants, smartphones, screens everywhere! For reference-example (there are many others, the list is long and keeps getting longer), go watch the video of the YouTube channel Science4All "Human trafficker and hate dealer #FacebookFiles" (v=HkqYjyyKeCo)

Everybody is givin 1 star but you all…

Everybody is giving 1 star but you all still using facebook. This is something should concern you. FB is controlling you all.. I started using fb again after a very long period of inactivity and I noticed my whatsapp is shown next to all my posts. FB is saying you can disconnect it but when I followed the instruction FB gave me, there is no such thing..(not on the app, not on desktop neither Chrome through my phone) then, I somehow by mistake, I found somewhere else 'WhatsApp manager' but when I tried disconnecting it, it said that I cannot disconnect my whatsaap account from my Facebook account" I tried submitting this review with my old account and Trustpilot said I cannot post here because my IP is showing an unusually large amount of posting here (which is not true)...so now I made another account but is seems like the IP part was a lie from Trustpilot side as with the same IP address I managed to create a new account and post this review. Do not trust anybody! That's my advice. P.S. I m only using FB now to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ anyways, so I don't care but I tought you should know about it too. Facebook is controlling you 24/7 and that means you became a clone/a zombie.

How do you get in touch with Facebook?

At the beginning of October, whilst away on holiday, I received an email from Facebook, asking if I had changed my email address and my phone number on my account. I had not done this and told them so. There was an option to click on if I thought my account had been hacked, so I clicked on this, as it was obvious that it had been. I was then asked to enter my password, which I did on my mobile phone, since I did not have my computer with me on holiday. This immediately aroused suspicion with them because I rarely use my phone to access my account whilst at home. I was asked to enter a code which was emailed to me very quickly but, having entered the code, I was then asked to enter a second code, which they were sending to my phone, but it did not arrive for several hours so, when I entered this code, I was told that I had waited too long to enter the code and I was directed back through the whole process again - emailed code, which came in seconds, followed by another code to my phone, which took hours - again I was told I had waited too long! On my return from holiday, I started up my computer to see that I had several Facebook notifications, so I tried to view these but found that I had been had been 'temporarily' locked out of my account while they 'carried out their investigations' into the matter. Now I have been told by a friend that my old account is ' unavailable at the moment', so it seems to have been closed down. I don't think much of Facebook, but I use it to keep in touch with my daughter and grandchildren, who all live at the other end of the UK from me, several of my old school friends and also my brother and sister-in-law, who live in New Zealand . Because we all lead busy lives, it is not always possible to use the phone to keep in contact, so it has been quite distressing to keep receiving notifications about people's posts, which I cannot log in to read. I eventually had to set up a new account but, because I couldn't get into my old account, I was unable to message friends to tell them about the change, so I then had to search for everyone who was on my friends list to send them a friend request. It was not that easy to do this, as there were many people listed with similar names but, when I eventually found the account of someone and tried to send them a friend request, I was told that I could not send them a request because I 'don't know them'! I was advised to message these people directly to ask them to send a request to me but several people didn't respond because they weren't convinced that it was really me! If I happened to have phone numbers, it was easy enough to text them and explain, but I just don't have numbers for most of those on my friends list. Over the last 7/8 weeks I have kept trying to log into my old Facebook account, even having to send Facebook a copy of my Passport to prove my identity, which they accepted by email, but I am still unable to access my old account because they send me email verification codes, followed by another code sent by SMS, but these texts continue to take HOURS to arrive and I don't always have the time to watch for a message to arrive so that, when it does, I am told I have taken too long! On a number of occasions I have also been told that I had been locked out from trying to log into my account because, I was entering details 'too fast'! As a trained touch-typist with a speed of 70+ words a minute, it is normal for me to type fast! Having had my ID accepted from my passport details, I do wonder why it is taking Facebook so long to investigate, when I have done everything they have asked of me, and they are apparently still 'investigating' but how do you get in touch with them? I have also tried clicking on the option to 'recover your account', but that has been unavailable since 6th October - What are those people doing?

I used to have a Facebook account and…

I used to have a Facebook account and the whole time I had it I was worried about privacy issues, I don't think Facebook cares about privacy and it's been hacked before, I deleted my account and have not looked back, I don't need everyone having access to all my information and my whole life story, I should never have opened the account in the first place but I thought it would be interesting, well I was wrong after all the questions they asked, and after reading all the reviews I'm not surprised that Facebook is rated so low, I didn't like it one bit when I had it, only had a account for about a month and deleted it, won't be going back either.

HEAVILY MANIPULATED BY RUSSIA.

HEAVILY MANIPULATED BY RUSSIA.The platform is rife with the most awful and extreme hate groups but worst of all, Russian state 'groups'. They post AI generated content and then spam users who like it with anti US/EU propaganda.I'm addition they have a ton of groups that are pro US/UK. The US groups agitate people by saying "I don't know about you but I pay taxes for veterans, not for student loans". The UK ones show a picture of London in the 1920's with the caption "Back when Britain was British".Its an obvious attempt to subvert, manipulate and coerce the racist types. If you report these groups to Meta, no matter how you report it they come back with 'we didn't do anything about this".You'd think for a company that has been in front of several government bodies for different ilks of manipulation and corruption that they may police their platform better.Facebook will be dead within a year, dominated by bots led by Russia.

Facebook Refuses to remove scam advertisements when reported!

Facebook Refuses to remove scam advertisements when reported. I purchased somthing off an ad on Facebook as I had faith that there would be some validation and protection in place but got scammed - currently trying to get money back from my bank.I reported the ad as fraudulent and after a couple of weeks got an update that nothing would be done as the ad was within community rules.Clearly Facebook is more interested in revenue than protecting its users as Facebook is being activiely used as a scammer platform.

If I could give a negative one-star…

If I could give a negative one-star review, I would. I have never been a fan of this media platform. I had an account before, but I closed it. I reopened it for my business use, using my name as I am the founder, but I also used my company logo. I barely used the site, only joining four or five groups where I intended to upload my book and connect with other authors. I want to emphasize that I didn’t use the site for anything else, just joined a few groups. Then, I received an email from Facebook stating that I had been banned for 180 days. They didn’t provide much detail about the reason for the ban. After some searching, I discovered they thought I was being fraudulent because I used my company logo instead of a personal photo. In the banning email, I was informed that I could appeal, but when I clicked the link, I was taken to a page demanding that I upload a picture of myself to verify my identity. I was also told that this uploaded photo would be encrypted and kept on file for one year. This was their appeal process.Being told I must upload a photo felt very unfair, and there was no opportunity for a proper discussion or hearing. This lack of due process made me angrier than the ban itself. I understand that there are many scammers on the internet, but at the very least, the platform should offer a fair hearing for those they ban. Demanding a photo is not an appeal process, and it seems Facebook is unaware of that.In the end, I logged out of my account, deleted my password and login information from my computer, and decided to block Facebook for good. There are other social media platforms out there, and Facebook has lost me as a customer. If someone asks me which social media platform to use, I will certainly not recommend Facebook.

Facebook Destroys Competition: Blocking the Largest Job Groups in Germany with a Combined Total of Over 950,000 Subscribers

On October 16, Facebook blocked the group “Jobs in Germany,” which had amassed 380,000 members. The group’s founder, Iryna Horokhovska, received no clear explanation from Facebook’s support team, other than one response: “Your group does not contain fraudulent job posts, but algorithms sometimes make mistakes.”On November 5, Facebook removed Iryna’s second-largest group, “Jobs in Germany 2024,” with 290,000 members. This action followed a second warning regarding a job post the platform deemed “fraudulent,” despite there being no rule violations in the post. Two more groups are currently at risk of being blocked. The first, “Jobs in Germany for Ukrainians,” with 181,000 members, was flagged without apparent reason and received a red warning that limits its visibility. Any further violation could lead to its removal. The fourth group, “Jobs in Germany 2024,” with 96,000 members, also received a warning. After the deletion of the first two groups, users quickly migrated to the remaining groups, sharply increasing their activity. In response, Facebook began imposing strict limitations on these communities as well. It appears that Facebook is targeting large, independent job groups to reduce competition in the field of targeted advertising, restricting communities that help people find jobs without having to pay for ads on the platform.Iryna believes that the platform’s algorithms are biased against large, active groups. This is not the first time that Ukrainian job communities have been blocked, and all of this is happening amid growing group membership. It is becoming increasingly difficult to view Facebook as a reliable space for building communities and conducting business, as users effectively own nothing on the platform and can lose access to their community at any time, despite following all the rules.

No Stripes and Your still OUT!

I started a new business and needed to set up payment options. Stripe was listed as a Credit Card Payment Gateway, so I filled in an application. This was rejected on the basis that I breached their Restricted Businesses list. They have every right to do this, but the most frustrating was they refused to point out exactly how my business, which is a simple 3-step system on how to build a business, breached those rules. Despite repeated "reviews", there was no customer-centric approach to helping get it right. I was not trying to undermine their processes, just to understand why. Particularly as mine is just one of many using the same business platform

Meta and Facebook are racists

Racist, bigoted network that allows anti black comments but blocks anything in defense of blacks. After reporting hate speech I was told it wouldn’t be taken down. I appealed and won and ever since, everything I do is blocked. I got the new iPhone and wanted to sell my iPhone 11 Pro Max. Mind you I have over 50 successfully sold items on Facebook marketplace and never had 1 issue. Upon making the post for my iPhone 11 Pro Max, the post is flagged as counterfeit goods. Even though there is a screenshot showing the serial number of the iPhone. Also, any comments I make are immediately deleted. I was outright called the N word and responded with calling the person a racist. My comment was taken down as abusive but me being called the N word wasn’t taken down. Facebook and meta have become what the Democratic Party was in the 1800s a far left racist movement.

Grace Bags Scam

I have been trying to get a refund from a company advertised on Facebook that is a scam. There are many reviews that support this view (as high as 75%of the reviews are 1 star). How can Facebook continue to do business when they support scams like Grace Bags? The bags are neither Leather nor handcrafted. I wish I knew a way to go public in a big way to show the world how curupt Facebook is. They take down post that they disagree with and yet continue to advertise Grace Bags. I did not check reviews before I bought. Shame on me. I just want to warn others not to get scammed by this company AND Facebook.

“Frustrating Experience with Facebook Business Ads, Lacking Support and Solutions” Facebook are beggers!!!

I’ve been using Facebook to advertise my business, and it’s been an extremely frustrating experience. There is virtually no customer support, no way to contact anyone for help, even when there’s an issue impacting my ads. Despite paying for ads, I’ve had ongoing problems with no solutions in sight. It feels like Facebook is more focused on taking money from businesses than helping them succeed. I’m disappointed and wouldn’t recommend this platform for business use. Improvements in customer support are desperately needed.
