Facebook Rude Service

I had a Facebook account, a scammer broke into my account, I closed it and created another account. two weeks ago, Facebook closed my account, it said I have two accounts without asking me the truth. It is very rude and unprofessional. I reported it to BBB.I week ago, I received an email from Facebook, asking me to "Appeal" my case. I clicked the "Appeal" icon, which came with the email. It linked me to a blank page, I have no way to file an "Appeal". Facebook is not only rude to Facebook members, but it produces a very poor quality of work, which I can't follow. They said they would prominent close my Facebook account within 160 days if I did not respond to the "Appeal"

I have been trying to add friends for…

I have been trying to add friends for days on Facebook. Evertime I try a message appears on the screen that says in so many words that I can't add message friends a friend's request to avoid spam. I have 300 some friends requests waiting for my approval and I don't recognize a soul in them that has messaged me a request. For this reason I prefer to find and message my own friends. I have tried to dispute the disable feature with an appeal I have discussed on the basis that the disable I speak of does not indicate a duration. I have asked asked that it be removed while this feature is under appeal without any visible success. Facebook is a dysfunctional company that words things like what I have described ambiguous on purpose. It has nothing to do with protecting the community but giving Facebook sensors something to do at my expense.

Meta could have been something great

Meta could have been something great. Meta is responsible for much of the decline in mental health we are experiencing. Metas primary objective is to be super efficient and make lots of money. It does provide many services, none of us have much of a choice but to use them due to the expansiveness of Meta. Sometimes market place works, sometimes random things are greyed out and you cant do anything about it. You can't ask anyone for help either. Meta is like a cornfield maze you had ideas of getting in and out but just end up perpetually stuck and frustrated. It's funny how much spam and violence they will allow and make no effort to verify accounts, yet you'll violate just about any policy of theirs when it comes to commercial selling. Just a horrific company that we now have to live with.

Never buy from them again Delivered 6/3 to RV park, we arrived 6/22 & did not start using harness until 7/16

I’m sorry True Harness feels this way; after having multiple harnesses from you and them lasting for years. Only reason I purchased a 2nd one for our dog, Skywalker is I wanted a backup and loved it (used it until his death); we have referred True Harness to many people we met in our travels as a full time RVer and walking him through many parks over the last few years. Skywalker was very rough and if any harness was going to tear, it would’ve been his harness. As I told you on the pink harness for Maizy we got it in but did not use it for over a month after receiving it as we were working on her walking with a lead leash. Maizy is extremely gentle with the harness and there is nothing in her inside kennel or in our Tiffin Bus that she could’ve torn it on. She only wears it for her walks as Skywalker pretty much stayed on all day and a bunch of nights. Knowing fabrics as I do (I was a designer and worked with fabric daily for 30 years) I feel there is an issue with the fabric of the harness. After much thought on your response that it was over your 60 day warranty (this was by only a few days) I will no longer be using your products or giving out referrals on it If I felt Maizy could’ve damaged the harness in her daily activities I would not have even contacted you on the issue. I feel your 15% discount was an insult as the leash being used for less than a month and the fabric looking like it was dry rotted on why it was ripping & worn looking. So I am ordering another harness from another vendor who offers the same product Have a blessed day Joanne MurpheyOn Aug 14, 2024, at 6:25 AM, Katie Williams (TrueHarness) wrote:Your request (62021) has been updated. As your order is slightly past our 60-day return policy, we can’t offer a replacement for this harness. However, as a token of our appreciation for your continued support, we’d like to offer you a 15% discount on your next purchase. Please let us know if you’d like to use this discount for your next order. Your satisfaction is our top priority, and we hope this helps make things right. Thank you for your understanding.Thank you,Customer SupportTrueharness Joanne MurpheyAug 14, 2024, 00:10 GMT+7image0.jpegI wish to ask you why our harness is falling apart. We have purchased several harnesses from you in the past and they lasted years (for my dogs Skywalker & Possum). This one is only a little over 2 months old since getting it and we waited almost a month before using it as we were still teaching her to walk properly with a lead leash. As you can see from my picture the fabric is coming apart. We live in our MotorHome so there is nothing that when we come inside could be catching on it. Maizy wears it for 4 walks a day and when we take her in our truck which has a full seat cover & then we take it off inside the MotorHome after she drinks her water. I am very disappointed with this harness as it has not lasted like the others I’ve purchased. Please advise me with your opinion. Thank you

Facebook deserves ZERO stars for…

Facebook deserves ZERO stars for customer service. META is a joke. My acct was hacked. When I reported this to FB, my acct was deactivated. I have spent HOURS and HOURS trying to reach customer service to get my account, which I’ve had for at least 18 years, back up and running again. There is no way to reach customer service, if they even have one. Their FAQ and help pages are worthless, leading you to nowhere. I feel like I’ve been on a hamster wheel for weeks. I had two business pages attached to this acct, so they’re gone, too. I spent years accumulating thousands of followers on my business page. I am so HEARTBROKEN and FRUSTRATED. This is affecting my BUSINESS and LIVELIHOOD. If I could take legal action against them I would. Hate to say this but I actually wish the government would step-in and force them to help out their customers with REAL PEOPLE, not stupid AI. I know thousands and thousand of others have faced the same issue as me.

Moderation is Shockingly Bad

The moderation on this social media site is terrible. They leave up posts which contain scams and misleading information, but they will take down your own posts which contain satirical quotes which come directly from movies and books. They have no clue what they are doing. There is toxic and dangerous content which is allowed to proliferate on the site and they take no action against it saying it "doesn't violate their community standards" but they will delete your posts for silly reasons.

I'm having a nightmare trying to change the name on my business FB page. It won't let me change it at all and my business name changed on the 1st sept 2024 so I am advertising now with the incorrect name. Very confusing for potential clients. I've tried all sorts of variations to try to change and still won't do it. I've reported it numerous times thought he help centre but still nothing. I'll amend this review pending Facebook contacting me regarding this. There is no way of contacting them. Very frustrating

Bye bye Facebook

Facebook used to be a place to keep up to date with my community of friends and relatives, to learn about events, happenings and occurrences...Unfortunately, Facebook is now a place of adverts, suggested groups, suggested friends, suggestions galore, and more adverts, with maybe 1 in 100 posts being that of a friend or relative, adverts in the notification area, adverts in messenger, adverts on videos that I never ever see because I'm watching the video...! The thing is, so many people I know now don't use Facebook because of the adverts, the suggestions and the lack of visibility of friends & family. Then there are the hackers, the hijackers, the ones that spend seconds so incredibly easily stealing people's accounts, but the owners of the accounts then find it almost impossible to get them back...! I've not known one person that has had there account stolen get it back, not one. The fact that I know several people that have even had their accounts stolen is disgusting...! Why Facebook...? Why do you enable, allow and make it so incredibly easy for the hackers & hijackers to steal people's accounts, but then impossible for the owners to get them back...? Yeh, you have links and pages that are supposed to help, but they don't work...! Once the account has been stolen the hackers & hijackers change everything...!!!Facebook is broken and it breaks a little more as time goes by, people are leaving and Facebook is failing. It's like a bucket of water with thousands of holes, all covered with sticking plasters, over varying amounts of time, each plaster fails and a little more water leaves the bucket, another way to deliver an advert, another account stolen, another suggestion or another member lost = a further sticking plaster lost & another hole exposed, all until the bucket is empty...Can it be repaired...? No, I don't think so, unfortunately.Bye bye Facebook.

After a long time of getting burned by other estate agents, working with Gareth Mills Estate Agents was a complete game-changer. Gareth genuinely stepped up when it mattered and went above and beyond to help me secure my dream house. From start to finish, the entire process was smooth, stress-free, and handled with total professionalism. Communication was clear, honest, and consistent, something that had been seriously lacking in my previous experiences. If you’re looking for an estate agent who actually delivers and has your best interests at heart, I honestly couldn’t recommend Gareth highly enough. Absolutely top class.

Facebook directly caused me to have health issues

My Facebook account was hacked and then I got denied access to it, I know it maybe was hacked because I got notification that a person I did not add as a friend accepted my friend request. After that I had a seizure because I have focal epilepsy. I am regularly taking therapy meds, sleeping schedule is nice, avoiding sugar and coffee, not drinking, going to therapy, talking to friends, etc. But...While I recuperated my account was disabled on my phone and I did not have access nor options to activate it. I am an individual who wrote about my epilepsy publicly and helped people as they have helped me too. I feel insecure and have lost many contacts that help me with my condition via Facebook messages. Now I am in a state of agony because I did not get any email from Facebook with warning of suspicious activity or any sign at all! Now I question if it was because of my public talk about my seizures. It is urgent that this is settled because it made huge pain for me since I can not pull my data where I have most of my contacts that are epilepsy related and support on both sides. That's why I do not have numbers of all people. Lost my data, can not pull it where I have drawings and music which is my only income ATM, because of the long built audience. So it kind of messed up my life and provided large amounts of stress that causes my seizures. No reply, no warning, no option for contact. If I knew this was possible I would avoid making an account at first and would ask for phone numbers. It is a health problem now when I am alone without someone next to me. Many contacts are cut, and my work is without promotional space, so in time I will not have enough for medication, thanks Facebook! Without warning via email or anything...

Caution

Caution: Facebook will send you undeclared Childporn and then Delete your account when look at it. I don't recommend this Pervert Platform. The childporn is located in their Reels section. Crappy Company can't even keep people from posting their naked children. The Company will also send you porn advertisements. Just saying Trashy Company.

I own a True Value and I had page to show our community what was going on at the store. Being as the newspaper does not go out of town Facebook was ideal for getting to the surrounding area. Well as of yesterday their social media police removed my page stating I was a fake page posing as corporate True Value. They did not do the research to know True Value is a Coop that you buy the rights use the name. Now they will not respond to me.

Facebook isn’t safe.

Supports animal cruelty, racism, sexism, fascism, by letting pages permit and post hateful crimes hate crimes in animal cruelty, homophobia racism. And every time I report this they tell me there’s nothing wrong with their page not to mention Facebook are constantly removing My comments if I’m commenting against racism and homophobia , Facebook tried to remove my comment even though there was nothing wrong with them, also Facebook supports adult activity pages people are creating pages linked to pornography and Facebook are not removing them, even though they are showing adult sexual content and services Facebook is supposed to be about community family to be a safe space and it is far from that.

Facebook are an absolute Disgrace

Facebook are an absolute Disgrace. I got scammed off a Facebook advert. So I'd Research every Gambling Advert and put Scam in the Comments but Facebook kept Suspending for an Hour. Whilst I was Suspended I seen on one of the adverts saying they Robbed Me. Someone had just been Scammed that Could of been Prevented. So I decided to report these Adverts telling Facebook do your Research and Look at the Angry Faces and Comments. Trustpilot or anything. They mustn't even look because they said it didn't go against any Ruled. So Scamming allowed on Faceback. Absolute Disgrace. Iv been doing this Since Monday about 8 hours a Day and not One Scamming Advert has Been took Down. Do Facebook actually Vet any Gambling adverts. Facebook is Unsafe Sort it out get these Adverts off Is Facebook gonna be paying people who've been scammedFacebook this ads been up for hours and no one has contacted me that's how much of a Disgrace u are. I have mixed emotions about facebook

I have mixed emotions about facebook. There was a time when I loved that site. I had account on their platform for about a decade. One day, my account was disabled without reason and no explanation. At the time, I was in Louisiana helping people because Hurricane Laura had completely demolished a large portion of the state only a few days prior to that.I was there volunteering completely for free, and I was able to help an elderly couple in a big way, and another elderly woman whom I never got to meet. I had been using facebook to coordinate those efforts as well as raising money for supplies and gas to get work done. That was in 2020. About 5 days after I was there, I tried to log into my account and couldn't. That was the last I heard from anyone at facebook. I lost all the memories I had shared with my dad, who had just passed away from a massive stroke. We were all devastated by that. I had lost my grandmother not long before that and I was close to her.Facebook made sure that I lost all the friends I had reconnected with over the years while on their platform. Considering how I used their platform and how critical a tool it had become, it was extremely difficult to adjust to no longer being able to use it. To this day, there are many family members and many more friends whom I haven't spoken with since that day. I miss them all. They keep your data permanently. They never delete it. When they ban you from their platform, they permanently suspend your account, they do not delete it, but they disable the account in a way that it can't be used again, and it can't be restored. And when they ban you, they actively monitor attempts to create another account and their algorithms stop you from doing so.Sure, you can create an account with a different name, but if you use your real name, your real photo, and your information, even the minimum that you can, it kicks it back every single time and denies it. That leaves any other use of facebook completely meaningless because of how that platform works. If you don't use your real name, your real info, and your real photo, how can you connect to people whom you know in real life? There are thousands upon thousands of people out there in my situation. And one of the worst parts of the entire thing is that when they ban you, nobody can tell that's what happened. They actively do all they can to hide that from other users.

I find myself banned by Facebook Groups arbitrarily and suggestions of groups and friends

I find myself banned by Facebook groups, without reason or notice, and yet I respect their rules, and even, I do not comment, do not interact, I only consult the posts. I sometimes like comments! I was a member of a group of construction and public works fails, for several years, and, suddenly, I found myself banned, like that, without reason or notice or anything! The worst is that another account of mine (they do not know that it is another account of mine) still has access to it, this account has not interacted with this group either. I do not understand. By searching for me via this other account, in the group, Facebook tells me that this banned account is still a member. What is this weirdness. Also watch out for groups without rules, which can ban anyone as they please! So, on Facebook, you can ban anyone arbitrarily and absurdly, unless it's Facebook that's bugging. It's the same on YouTube, X, Twitch, Tiktok and elsewhere too. Freedom of expression does not exist (according to other people banned for posting a comment or a publication, although legal, but who disturbed), discrimination is commonplace, as is arbitrariness. The Internet is now under the supervision of the internet giants who, not only decide for themselves, are the law, above all official laws, but also allow influential people, admins, influencers, etc., to decide who can speak, publish, join a group, comment, etc., in a totally arbitrary way, without recourse!Concerning Facebook, in the news feed, there is a section of group suggestions "groups you might be interested", on the home page. There was a group of beautiful photos of landscapes of a European country. I tried to join it, as this group was suggested to me by Facebook, I found myself banned, just for trying to join it! It is impossible to hide these suggestions, just like it is impossible to hide friend suggestions! These suggestions come back every time I refresh the home page! Then, it is Facebook that restricts me from joining groups or inviting people to be friends, while it is itself encouraging me to do so! It is completely stupid.

Worst company ever, I would have preferred it to be just a nightmare, not a reality.

Why put a lot of "add friend", "message", "subscribe", "like" buttons in the lists of people who reacted (liked, angry, sad, laugh, wow, etc.) to publications, comments, etc.?These buttons make me accidentally click on "add friend", for example, and end up inviting strangers to become friends? In addition, Facebook tells me that I can't add him as a friend, because I don't know him! So, why put these buttons everywhere????? These buttons are also visible in the little preview pop-ups when I hover over the name of a person or a page (person who created a publication, made a comment, etc.). Instagram (managed by Meta, like Facebook) is not better because, when you double-click, it likes a post, even accidentally! Here are the other stupidities of Facebook, and even everything that is managed by Meta:The scammers, scammers, or even worse, who are rampant, under fake profiles, false advertisements, scams in the marketplace, etc., and who remain online, despite the reports, supposedly in accordance with the rules! To report too much, you are blocked by Facebook and banned for life from being able to contact support (yes, completely)! ON THE OTHER HAND, honest people who have real profiles, business pages, etc., are blocked, accounts deactivated with the obligation to provide official identity documents, etc., within 180 days! The slightest comment, photo, etc., that does not suit them, is sanctioned by, at least, 30 days of Facebook (or WhatsApp, Instagram) JAIL!Facebook accounts have been deactivated because of linked Instagram accounts that are not compliant with their arbitrary rules. All sanctions are not explicitly justified, no support, no recourse, no human support, nothing!Meta hegemony that destroys all competition and forces everyone to use its platforms (groups between work colleagues on Facebook and WhatsApp), school groups, dating groups, game pages to win gifts, travel, etc., only on Facebook and Instagram, often with the obligation to cite friends (disguised sponsorship), single people are excluded! In North America and other countries, only Facebook Marketplace is widely used, while in Europe, there are still alternative platforms.Trumpp promises to send Mark Zuckerberg to prison if elected. Zuckerberg (who stole Facebook from the Winklevoss, the real creators of this network). Facebook has become Meta, the group, the multinational, changed its name because it is at the center of a lot of scandals like Cambridge Analytica, the Rohingyas, etc.Facebook, Meta, are part of the GAFAM, which aim to dominate the world without concession, multinationals for profit, which have no compassion for their users and even the planet. The GAFAM, harming mental health, intelligence, education, aim to create idiocracy, make 1984 (George Orwell) a reality, in particular with newspeak, censorship, create a mix of Terminator and Matrix with their AI, connected objects, robots, etc. In short, all the dystopias, which were unrealistic, a few years ago, are now becoming realities. A frightening reality. The GAFAM are doing worse than some countries, like some large countries in Asia for example.I am nostalgic for the old world, when the GAFAM did not yet exist.

How did we get to the point of generating things like Facebook?

If I could rate it less than 1, I would, and even less than 0. How did we get to the point of generating things like Facebook? As a user this is bad. As an editor, this is bad. As an advertiser, this is worse than bad. Without mentioning all the scams you can possibly be victim of. My inbox is full of spams and real messages, I can't even open them !!! True story.Facebook is worse than worse, it is a shame for humanity as well as for the profession, for UX/UI and Design on a global scale. From the app the Nazis dreamed of to the worst experience you could ever have on the Internet, we should reward them, like we do the worst movies.

Facebook is a disgusting company

My Facebook profile was deleted after 14 years. and I haven't even received a notification or email about it. It's disgusting that I paid so much money for my ads. But when you have a problem, they don't give any support. Literally nothing. There is no such thing as a HELP CENTER with them. There is no customer service by phone or email. nothing.
