Rented two properties of citadel homes . Both times sorting out paperwork was very easy and staff very helpful. Homes are beautiful and up to great standard of finish . Any issues with maintenance they have got back to me in the same day . Couldn’t recommend them anymore. Nikki in the office is spot on and always helpful.

Didn’t get the correct information from the beginning from Nikki, Went through our application , gave us a slot , we paid the fee and she emailed a couple days after saying we cannot have the house. Not professional, all checks should’ve been done before actually giving us a slot instead of disappointing.

Called about renting a 2 bed for myself, my partner and my daughter. Because my daughter is over 18, I was told we can't rent from them and can't be put on a waiting list. Not sure I understand why. The lady said because of the size of the homes. 3 adults can't live in a house? I really don't understand. I wasn't asked if 3 beds would be suitable or something we would like to consider, just 'sorry we can't help you'. I worked as a letting agent previously and still this doesn't make any sense to me. After almost 3 years at Dale Court I have recently moved away from Carlisle, but would recommend Citadel Homes to anyone looking for a quality home in the area. From being efficient and helpful when we first enquired and subsequently moved in, the team at Citadel have maintained a high level of service, keeping to their plans for any improvements we had been informed of, whilst also completely revamping the property's garden last year. We had very few issues whilst in the house, a testament to how well looked after they are; both by Citadel and other/previous tenants. Anything minor that did arise was sorted quickly, with good communication and sensible procedures in place to allow contractors into the property at a time that suits you. I have rented a home from Citadel Estates for a few years now and they are an excellent Landlord. I have had a few instances where I've had to let them know of a problem and they are really quick to respond and get problems fixed. They have listened to any feedback I have given and made changes or responded positively. The homes are finished to a really high standard and really last the test of time. Also the house I am in is super energy efficient so makes all the difference to the heating bills. I’ve been living in a citadel property for just over a year now. I was initially struck by their professionalism and independent approach, they really made me feel like I owned the house which was nice because it felt less ‘rented’ and more like my home. All of my concerns and issues were addressed fairly and on time and they have kept in regular contact offering any assistance should I need it. Our private area (Dale Court) has recently had a back yard revamp and upgrade which was done to a very high standard and in the midst of the coronavirus outbreak I feel they managed their time well and effectively. The houses themselves are well maintained and kept immaculately intact, ideal for couples, singles and also a furry friend! I feel very safe and content here and all the neighbours are great people-a testament to citadels commitment to ensuring a peaceful and neighbourly environment.
