GoogleDespite Richard Willis appearing friendly and helpful in the first instance, he is not trustworthy. We had an offer accepted on a house and assurances from Richard that nobody else could view the house or submit offers on the house. 1 week later, we were gazumped and had very poor explanation and communication from Richard from that point forward and it was all very suspicious so we did not feel the process was transparent. Funnily enough though, the people who gazumped us couldn't get a mortgage and Richard called us back asking us if we would still buy the house. We said definitely not! after the way we were treated by Richard and the seller. Blessing in disguise though as we're way happier with the house we've now bought.
Thank you for your response and we have now located you on our system. You offered on property in July last year and the offer was the lowest put forward of several offers and the vendor accepted your offer. On the same day that you viewed the property another client saw it as well and their offer was declined as they were not in a position to proceed as they had not sold their property. This client then sold their property and reinstated their offer which was higher than yours, however we are duty bound by law to put forward all offers to the vendor. The vendor decided to withdraw from the sale to you and to proceed with the other party. We kept you informed at all times during the process and can only apologise for any misunderstanding on your part and we wish you all best in your new home.

GoogleI would like to write a review about the new Branch Manager Richard Willis. Although we are not ready to market our property. Throughout the furlough period Richard has remained in constant contact updating on what the market is doing and how best to proceed during this difficult time. He is knowledgeable, professional and I can see why Fortis Properties hired him. I look forward to Richard selling our home when the pandemic is over. Nice to meet a positive friendly agent for a change!

GoogleAfter 5 years of managing my rental property, I decided it was time to sell. I had a word with Leanne Smith and she organised a solicitor and a valuation. she was very professional and got me a very fair price. Before I knew it we were in lockdown. Through no ones fault I was not expecting anything to happen for some time. A short time later, I got a call from Richard Willis, who told me the staff had been furloughed but he had become manager of the branch and he would be dealing with me.
