Many thanks to Richard Willis, the branch manager at Fortis Properties for the quick sale of our house. He was highly supportive and showed empathy throughout the sale, after we had suffered a bereavement and our Dad moved into a care home just before lockdown. all this proved very stressful and he was amazing. He made everything go as smoothly as possible. I have never met an Estate Agent like him. He takes everything on board, including chasing up the solicitor if there was a problem, he sorted it out and always got back to us asap. Whatever he said he was going to do he would come through for us 100 per cent. He is professional, courteous at all times and regularly kept us updated throughout the sale of our house. He always goes the extra mile. I have recommended him to other people I know who want to sell their houses, and I will continue to do so. they have also been very happy with him.

Having had my house on the market with an Estate Agent for about 5 months and only 2 views I decided that wasn't good enough so by chance I came across Fortis Properties and contacted them. I met Richard Willis at my property and instantly his professionalism and enthusiasm was clear to see. Within a week I had viewings at the property and updates every day. 3 weeks later I had an offer on the house which I accepted, unfortunately that offer fell through, but Richard assured me that he would get another buyer and instantly had another 2 viewings the following day which resulted in another offer and the sale of my house was completed. After lots of stress and last minute complications I'm writing this review to say a big thank you to Richard Willis the Branch Manager of Fortis. To say he went above and beyond is an understatement. He even drove and collected signed documents and then delivered them to my solicitor. He said he would sell my house quickly and did, advised me all the way through and gave me a kick up the bum when things needed doing urgently. He knows how to get the job done and now I understand why he is highly regarded as an estate agent. Brilliant and a first class service!

I recently decided to move house. I was registered with a few estate but got no where. Richard Willis at Fortis Properties was recommended to me by a friend who he had helped move recently. As soon as I registered with Fortis, Richard found me the ideal house on a one off viewing he secured for me. So far he has made the experience of moving less stressful. First off I would like to say that Richard Willis is one of the most polite and courteous gents I have ever met, he was very helpful, always answering a million phone calls off me and always had time to help me through the selling transition. My property sale fell through in the lock down, he found a new buyer within 48 hours and my sale exchanged and completed in 10 days and i was delighted to hand the keys to the new owner this evening. if I come to purchase or sell a property again I will be going straight to Richard at Fortis

I recently decided that I need something to look forward too and make the next step in my life - get my own place. I contacted a few agencies but they were all terrible but then I came across Fortis. Anyone that is planning on moving use these guys! I spoke with Richard Willis about a property that I saw but unfortunately it had gone really quick but he told me that he would do his best in finding me another property. That’s exactly what he did and was in touch with me constantly (whereas other agencies just ignored me!). I finally have a property within 2 weeks of seeing it and moving in. Richard Willis was amazing and I am so glad that I dealt with everything through him! Very professional, says what he means, on the ball and a very nice guy to speak with! Definitely ask for him if you plan to go with Fortis properties!

We first put our late father's house on the market with Fortis in October 2019 and had a very stressful time with the buyer of our house taking their time , we were finally due to exchange in March . Then everything was stopped due to the corona virus and we heard nothing. Then Richard rang me to say he had taken over and thankfully everything started progressing from them on, I can 100% say we wouldn't have coped without him, he rang us constantly to keep us up to date, weekends and bank holidays and went above and beyond, even after he had sold our house, to chase the purchase of my sisters ongoing home (as we couldn't get hold of the estate agent we were buying from). We were able to contact him any time of day or evening and nothing seemed too much trouble for him. I would say if anyone wanted to sell their house then to definitely use Richard Willis. Thank you Richard.

I highly recommend Fortis if you want to sell your house. I used another Agent before them, the house hadn't sold in 4 months and I was sick of no communication etc. As soon as Fortis took over the sale, I had a buyer within a week! I reside in Australia, and Robyn was so helpful with doing regular checks of the property to ensure it was in good order, arranging lawn mowing etc, providing me with final metre readings, forwarding mail. The team always responded quickly to my emails and were professional throughout. I'm a very happy customer.
