Joanne has been a diamond since the beginning, always only ever an email or phone call away. Even issues with my solicitors, Joanne has been amazing and very reassuring and keeping me up to date. Also, dealt with two gentlemen that were very lovely and helpful (I want to say Neil & Tom but not 100% sure on that, my apologies). Very happy to of purchased our first house through darlows. Appealing behaviour. Signed up approx 4 weeks ago to move into a larger rented property due to my partner being 5 months pregnant. Obviously with everything going on with the Coronavirus and my partner now 6 months pregnant I contacted Darlows to ask if possible we could delay the move because there is absolutely no way I can move the entire contents of 1 house out to another house alone..not only that I could not find a van rental company and even if I did I would be putting my pregnant other half at serious risk.I spoke to Darlows - won’t name names, told them of my issues and straight away the conversation was “ absolutely no chance can we delay the move... either bring it forward or keep to the date agreed” I said to the person on the phone that surely is the landlords decision and not yours and would appreciate it if you could call them to explain ... I may we’ll be a cynical person but I have had absolutely no faith that that conversation between Darlows and the landlord even happened.We had a call back - eventually , and that we was told the landlord said no we need to stick with the date and that if we do not move we will lose the fee’s we have currently paid ( even though we never once brought up the fees this was clearly used as a very poor tactic to try to keep the house move on the scheduled date )Again we explained and again we got told the same - NOI rang a guy in head office the next day who after explaining things to him said himself that he totally understood our situation and wouldn’t expect us to move either ( feel free to listen to the phone conversation) - he arranged a call back from the Lettings manager who called me back - conversation went the same - he said he would ask but Darlows was the middle man in all this and it’s totally out of their hands ( obviously)After another call we agreed to knock it all on the head - cancel the move and stay put because with the entire world at a standstill at very dangerous times , plus the fact it was totally impossible for the move to happen , we found it totally impossible for it to happen without putting the family at risk .The reason for this review today is largely down to a gutless email we received. Not a phone call, but an email stating that we will lose the £132 fee we have put down. How is it you justify keeping hold of this fee? What has this fee gone towards?The entire country is in lockdown, and with wages every penny counts, especially a family of 4 during these times and you won’t bother to refund us the fee’s - so I’m guessing you contacted a director like you said and it was he/she who said no to this request? Shame on you.

Diane and the team in the Pontypridd branch were great when dealing with 2 properties I was selling at the same time. I dealt with both Gayle and on occasion Courtney both of whom were great. Always returning calls and keeping me informed during the selling process. Diane was particularly active in one of the sales due to the buyer and his solicitor dragging their feet as it was a development property. Thanks to Diane's tenacity we finally got over the line. Great job from the team and I highly recommend them.

Contacted Nicole mid week as I had a buy to let purchase was completing on the Friday, Nicole had viewings arranged for the following Monday, by close of business Monday Nicole rang me to confirm she had a tenant very interested in the property and ready to go if I was happy :) needless to say I was, Nicole kept me up to date through out, did all the work for me and made it super easy for me, something that I needed due to being busy myself someone to pick it up and make it seamless for me and my tenant, and thats what Nicole did. We recently dealt with Claire Lea at the Darlows Caerphilly office, they were the last estate agent to come to our home and we almost cancelled the appointment as we had already made our decision to go with someone else, Claire Lea came in and changed our minds with ease, she gave off such good profession and confidence with no pressure at all.Before she even got back to the office we called up and decided to go with Darlows - yes they cost more, but after dealing with them we now know why.Claire was always actively working on getting our house out there and sold and we were updated daily by either Claire or a colleague - 14 days later we had an offer we were happy with and accepted! Thanks to Claire and Darlows Caerphilly we will now be receiving more money from the sale of our property than we would have if we had gone with any other agent even thought their fees were cheaper than Darlows. We couldn't be happier with the w Claire and Darlows handled our house sale and we would happily use them again and will always recommend their services, Claire in particular.Thank Darlows.

Thank you Joanne and Neil for helping me a lots this year!!! Last year was a lots for us. Found a house, but the seller was disappeared, and I have to move out of the house that i was renting soon. I was so stressed at that time. Joanne gave me some options, but they are not the one that i wanted. Finally found the same property in the same location within 2 weeks, however, the house is not legally mine because of the paperworks. Joanne and Neil helped me went through all the paperwork.
