Although there were minor delays in fully completing the fitting of blinds in the extension, Craig Knowles kept us well informed which mitigated the waiting time. He completed the job professionally and took time to demonstrate and explain the correct operation of the controls. We were very pleased with his excellent work and friendly yet professional manner. The duet blinds have proved their excellent thermal capacity in this very cold weather.

GoogleWhen the end of tenancy came to an end we were pinned blame for damage that we were assured was not our issue and had to pay the cost of a brand new appliance, even though the kitchen was being renovated so would’ve been replaced! And had to pay £100 for cleaning even though the house is being refurbished, it was in an awful state when we moved in and we cleaned it at the end of our tenancy to a better condition than it was when we arrived. Be careful students because they took our money even though people in the house were not comfortable or happy with the final charges being taken from our deposits.
Hello Emily I am sorry you feel deposit monies were taken unjustly. We work from an independent checkout report which gives us an unbias decision on what we can deduct from a deposit as this is fairest way for both tenants and landlords. You were not charged the full cost of a brand new oven, you were charged a contribution towards a new oven due to damage as the oven was three years old. The clerk that conducted the checkout believed this to be a fair resolution. The checkout report also deemed a clean necessary and clearly showed photos as evidence. The landlord was within her rights to deduct for this. From our perspective, if we could give full deposit returns to all our tenants this would be wonderful. Negotiating deductions is both lengthy and stressful for all concerned so it would never be our intention to take monies for our own gain as we actually loose money as a company through the amount of staff time it takes. The monies go to the landlord for works needed, not to us. I am sorry that you feel you did not get the resolution you had hoped for. It was a long arduous sale, two buyers pulled out and the third time we had a ‘I want 3% off’ just before exchange. That said Charlotte in the progressions team kept me Informed at every turn offering sound advice and kept pushing the buyer and both sets of solicitors until completion. I have used Sandersons before and I will use them again, my experience of the Canterbury office from marketing to sale has been positive all the way.

GoogleThe sales team at Sandersons , Heidi, Craig and Antonia , have been extremely good, very proactive and supportive. There when you need them, always available for advice etc. Good , useful and fast responses to emails, phone calls etc Also and very importantly for someone like me who hasn't sold a property for decades, they have been helpful , friendly and easy to get on with . Essentially a lovely group of people. I would 100% would recommend them to friends looking to sell property and Iwould use Sandersons again for future sales!

GoogleWe recently used Sandersons to find new tenants for two separate properties and had a great experience with both. The marketing photos they took and video tours were fantastic and generated a lot of interest. Sandersons undertook all viewings, giving clear feedback to us. We also used their checkout report and inventory report services so the condition of each property was clearly agreed with outgoing/incoming tenants in a comprehensive report with lots of photos. For the new tenancies they carried out referencing checks, right to rent checks, prepared and issued the tenancy agreements etc. I will be using them again soon on another property.

GoogleWe put our house up for sale in Chartham, Canterbury just before Christmas 2019 when we first met Chris Murphy. After enquiring of our needs and obtaining details we then met their professional photographer and later still three wonderful ladies - Kellie George, Antonia Costa and Heidi. Later still we were introduced to Alexandra (Ali) Groen. After several views, an offer was made and accepted in mid-January. Throughout this the above ladies kept us updated and accompanied the prospective buyers, in particular Antonia. They were continuously contacting us to update re potential visits and feedback. By chance SANDERSONS were also the agents for the house we bought and my wife and I cannot thank them enough for the help they provided from start to finish. Well done all of you and would not hesitate in recommending you to other potential buyers and vendors.

The service from Head Office is disappointing recently but Neil Pennell restores my faith in the company. He is reliable, does what he says he will [unlike Head Office customer service] and gives an excellent service in a friendly and very professional manner. Sandersons should hold on to this chap as he is a great ambassador for your firm which does supply wonderful blinds but has a useless Customer service team in Head Office.
