GoogleI will be relocating to Canterbury from abroad this October, and used Page & Co to look for new apartments. I am very happy with my experience and can absolutely recommend P&C and their staff. Especially coming in from a different country, there were a lot of things to learn for myself, and the crew of P&C helped me a lot by patiently answering my many questions and guiding me through the process. I'd like to especially recommend Sonal, who was very friendly and accommodating when showing us around the properties, and Abi, who was always available when anything was unclear, structured everything that was needed, and in general was just very friendly to interact with.

The regular updates I received from Natalie, the agent were an absolutely lifeline when I was feeling stressed and anxious. I know she did a lot of much needed progress chasing that kept everything moving along. I found all the staff at Page & Co. knowledgeable, friendly and courteous. GoogleAwful experience renting with page & co. Many issues for the entire duration of my tenancy. A couple that I would like to list below.
The house share I lived in had a leak from the shower into our kitchen floor that had been apparent for most of the time I lived there. The landlord never really fixed it and just decided to make a massive hole in our ceiling and cover it with a screwed in piece of wood. When I was in the house by myself the landlord said he wanted to “test out the shower” and pulled out his towel and hopped in! He left all sorts of gross stuff for us to clean afterwards. We complained to the agency about him and then were told not long after that the landlord is now selling the house and all of us had to leave. Pretty big coincidence in my opinion.
During the apparent sale of the house, we were told that we would have a viewing early Saturday morning. I emailed back and said that I work late Friday nights and would be asleep so please don’t disturb me, which page and co agreed to. I am then woken up by Laura coming into my bedroom whilst I am still asleep! This turned out to be a mistake so I didn’t think anything of it, but then when I came downstairs to get some water. She said to the buyer “this is one of the tenants, he is in a bad mood because I just woke him up”. I didn’t say anything in the moment, but I called them up after she left.
After trying to have a civil conversation on the phone, I was shouted at and told “you are taking this completely out of order”, “I can’t believe what I am hearing” and “I was just trying to make light of it”. I said I didn’t think this was very funny or professional at all, I was asked what I’d like to do, to which I said an apology. I was then met with “Im sorry you took it the wrong way” and more unpleasantness with absolutely no willingness to accept blame for any of this. I have the entire phone call recorded.
I was absolutely disgusted by the service I received by page and co and absolutely would not recommend them unless you enjoy frequent disturbance and dodgy interactions.
Edit: received a very suddenly apologetic phone call from Laura personally to discuss this review. I received an apology for what has happened but saying I “slammed the door in her face” is probably the correct way to respond when you are asleep naked and someone suddenly opens your door! And no one was “pushed past”. There are 2 other witnesses for these events. I walked down the stairs as they both stood in a door way adjacent.
The phone call and apology were appreciated. But I don’t believe it warrants changing this review as it does not change the events that
happened.

Dear Kai, thank you for taking the time to review us. Unfortunately much of your grievance is with your landlord and there is not much we can do about that. However, I can advise that he didn't decide the sell the property just because you complained about the shower leaking. I understand you feeling aggrieved at having to leave your room let after two years but very glad you have now moved in with your girlfriend and enjoying your new property. The viewing incident you refer to in your review, was an unfortunate misunderstanding, due to the fact that your housemate told me the wrong room for you. I went to open your bedroom door but didn't even get my foot in before you slammed it in my face. Quite rightly so, but this was a genuine mistake. You then pushed past myself and the viewer on the staircase and my comment was said to lighten the atmosphere as it was all very awkward. We had a conversation following this and everything was fine and you even apologised to me for your attitude on the day. For the two years you have enjoyed living in this property and I do hope that you will continue to be happy living in your new home and wish you all the best for the future.

Page and co were kind, understanding and hugely supportive. They took on an old dilapidated property and brought out the best in it. They found several buyers and advised me carefully knowing my needs. I was always listened to, understood and very well advised.
Wonderful professionals and very kind people. Excellent at keeping me up to date and able to answer all my questions. Using their professional contacts they even sorted out an emergency electrician for me.
They went above and beyond to get the best outcome and I am delighted to have had them as my sole Agents

GoogleI had an incredibly frustrating experience with Page and Co Canterbury. I went for a viewing of a property and was told they would inform me of any updates. After numerous calls, I was met with unprofessionalism from their staff, with one lady even telling me not to "push the things." They blamed the delay on the letting agent being on sick leave, but after 10 days of waiting and being asked to be patient, I saw a "let" sign outside the property. This lack of communication and disregard for my time left me feeling incredibly disappointed, especially since I was relying on finding a place to stay and ended up crashing at my cousin's house instead. Avoid them at all costs.
