Miles and Barr are extremely slow in putting forward offers., They use a different team for this and an offer can take anything up to a couple of days. I as a buyer haven’t got time to wait in a market like this as you risk loading other properties. I would not use them to buy, sell or rent as their tenants also aren’t vetted thourghly.

GoogleWe bought our property through Miles & Barr and they kept us well informed throughout the process. I had fortnightly updates on the entire chain and weekly updates as we headed towards completion. The calls and emails were both informative and reassuring. They made a stressful process much smoother.

Very poor experience. Difficulty for buyer of my property to get a second viewing booked in. Little involvement in sales process.Would not sell through this agent again. Made a formal complaint but they want their fees.

GoogleLuke and staff always polite at the office in Whitstable. Not sure about the Herne Bay head office interference though - attitude problem certainly there and she took the 'personal' touch out of our sale! Would use an independant agent if ever buying or selling in Kent again.

This is the most succint and efficient estate agents ive ever dealt with, they were kind and considerate and so quick. I would highly recommend. from the viewing was amazing and they gave me time to look around and were very caring to the admin and final documents and referencing was user friendly. GoogleMost impressed with this branch/company. We had a property to sell in the area and they dealt with this in a most professional way, arranging a large number of viewings from the start which resulted in a quick sale. Their sales progressor kept an eye on the sales chain and did what she could to chivvy things along. Their close relationship with a local conveyancer simplified things and resulted in very much a stress free transaction. Highly recommended!

Miles & Barr were the estate agents we purchased through. Suzanne at the Ramsgate branch went above and beyond to keep us updated as to what stage we were at and was always at the end of the phone or email to answer any questions we had. She also chased up all solicitors involved in the move, more than my own estate agent! Would 100% recommend. 5*

GoogleNot impressed. Poor service, manager rude,. They overpriced our house then advised us to drop price, refused to lower their commission, I had to call them for feedback on viewings as they never called us. We sold our house, showing the purchaser round ourselves, then never heard from them after it was sold. The sales negotiator lady called us three times, very poor service we felt from the whole branch. I would never use them again.
