We just bought our first flat, and Miles and Barr put us in contact with Mortgage Advice 4 You to help us with all the mortgage stuff. Gary and Jess were amazing - the only people during the process who spoke to us in real human language instead of lawspeak, answered any of our questions quickly and helped us chase solicitors. He was Incredibly polite and respectful, and he gave us sound advice about moving home. He came fully prepared with clear information, and confidently answered any of our queries. Natalie Heard has been an absolute star helping us through our applications and giving any information we need or anything we are stuck on she has helped massively! All the staff I spoke to have all been so lovely and patient aswell.

Avoid, avoid, avoid! Will try and get you to sign a pre agency agreement and baffle you with terminology that they arent sure of themselves. They send roud a junior to value first then double up by asking if the Manager or senior can visit you. Be VERY VERY careful with what they get you to sign. ALso avoid the Sole selling rights agreements - these are a stitch up. Even if you sell your house to a friend or family member up to a year later they will try and claim their fee.

GoogleWe have bought and sold a property with Miles & Barr and have always had a positive experience with them. They are very reliable and every agent we have ever interacted with (over the phone or in person) has always been very helpful and kind. We had viewings recently with Georgia and Alfie who were so lovely and accommodating. The agents really made an effort to look after us and we are very grateful. Their customer service is unbeatable in my opinion.

GoogleI was very disappointed this morning when I was told that due to "Corona Virus" I would need to book in with their Financial Advisor before being allowed to view one of their property listings. I told the sales advisor that I would happily give proof of deposit to qualify me as a legitimate purchaser (normally that would be more than sufficient) but she said that she was not "qualified" to verify that and I would have to book in with their Financial Advisor. I told her that I did not want to speak to the Financial Advisor since I already have a broker, solicitor and insurers setup, so it would be pointless for me. At which point she told me I would then not be able to view the property and we hung up. I think it is disgraceful that such a company would use CoronaVirus as a way to try to sell people mortgages and insurance etc. My advice to Miles and Barr would be to stick to selling property - and think of other things after that. I presume the owners don't know that buyers are being prevented from viewing properties like this? I can't imagine they would be too happy with that.
