Great coordination from Louise to maintain momentum on the process, and that's very much appreciated. We had been letting out the property for 13 years through Miles & Barr, and internal M&B communication from Sales could have been smoother. Overall pleased with the service we received.

I have now been in my new home for 3 months. ALL the staff at Miles & Barr were so very helpful and professional right from initially putting my house on the market to getting a firm offer in Spring 2023. At this point I feel the star of the team was my appointed Negotiator Suzzanne Beardon. She was so supportive, helpful and nothing was too much trouble right through to completion. GoogleThe initial meeting with Blake was excellent, very informative. Sadly that didn’t continue once it moved to the selling team, communication following viewings was slow and didn’t improve much. Didn’t get told that sale was agreed STC and that was the reason a viewing had been cancelled until I queried why viewing cancelled 3 days later. However once sale agreed we then moved to Senior Sales Progressor Rebecca and her service was excellent, regular communication, help with queries or concerns. Very pleased.

Having completed everything, virtually under one roof, an introduction, Through Miles & Barr, to my solicitor, was a great help. Living out side the UK, I thought it would be an issue to review and sign documents. This was never a problem. All went very smoothly. With regular updates. With the completion done, I can now relax. GoogleThe agent that took over from the sales Team when the sale was agreed, was excellent. I would recommend Denise but the sales team were not good on communications or following instructions which should have been on my records such as not to call on Thursdays or Fridays and to email instead. Initially I felt the team did not promote the house sale until Miles and Barr were given notice due the lack of expectations given from the valuer. A buyer as found within a week after giving you notice !

Want to say a special thank you to Shannon Phillips who has been dealing with our sale primarily and has been incredible throughout the whole process, she provided regular updates via email and phone and was always willing to take my calls and answer any silly questions we might have. Shannon & Miles and Barr have made the selling process stress free!

GoogleBlake was amazing at showing us round properties. We weren’t by any means the easiest buyers being picky with all our requirements but Blake showed us a property which despite looking extensively we hadn’t seen on any of the online portals which really was exactly what we were after. We have purchased one property through miles and Barr already. Honest EA’s which really helped making finding a home an enjoyable experience.

Would never use them again, horrible communication, attitude and service. Incompetent throughout. Information was never passed to us and had to chase on multiple occasions, culminating in sellers refusing to hand over keys whilst Miles and Barr staff watched on despite calling us earlier that day to hand the keys over advising which we weren't the legal owners which was odd as our keys were handed in minutes later. After handing our keys in to them they simply watched a seller refuse to pass us keys after funds had cleared and hour earlier. Ridiculous company no backbone.

GoogleAlthough the property still needs some eternal work, we both Loved the property this time round and can see the changes that have been made. Look forward to hearing what structual changes have been made and if there has been damp course And electric and up to date boiler certi ficate. Rhyss our estate agent was lovely, very easy to talk to and allowed us time to have a good look around without being rushed. He also answered our questions and would find out the things he couldn't answer.
