From start to finish Rebecca Gravener the Senior Sales Progressor at Canterbury was in contact with us regularly, giving us updates or even just checking in if there was nothing to report. If it wasn't for her the process of our sale could have felt a lot more frustrating, when we were ready for exchange she pushed hard for a quicker completion time and came through the the great news! I'm so happy for her support and have been over all very impressed with Miles and Barr - highly recommend

Miles & Barr have looked after us very well through what was (through no fault of our own) a long and difficult house sale/purchase. Denise especially has worked absolute magic holding together a rather fraught and fragile chain. I have no doubt that if it wasn't for her determination to get us the result we wanted, the whole thing would have collapsed months ago, she did an absolutely amazing job and was wonderful at keeping us informed or even just picking up the phone when I needed someone to sound stuff off throughout the whole process. Would highly recommend Miles & Barr to anyone looking to sell/purchase in Canterbury area.

Lisa Cook went above and beyond

Lisa Cook went above and beyond her role and really was fully responsible for helping us move despite multiple hurdles faced with our mortgage application etc. It was not a straight forward chain or journey but her guidance, advice and patience was incredible and she even ended up supporting the whole chain eventually as other sales progressors were hard to contact. We met with Jake |Chamberlain of Miles & Barr at a property to let. He was professional with a good degree of amiability throughout our meeting. In addition he appeared at all times to give a believable air of honesty which was refreshing in the present situation. We took up an inordinate amount of his time with questions and hypothetical scenarios and at no time did we feel that he had anything else to do except concentrate on us, the customer. Our appointment with Jake was very good as we had an unusual situation which he assured us would not be a problem an he gave us advice which we valued. It is a shame that we did not apply for the rental as Jake was such a likeable face to Miles & Barr. Due to our experience with Jake we would readily recommend the company

All the way from Toronto Canada, we wandered in to M&B. We are looking for a small vacation place. We met Brooke Handley and she has been extremely helpful with our search. We have only a very short time here, and we know very little about the area and about the real estate process in the UK (spoiler alert - it is VERY different than in Canada). Brooke made us feel immediately welcome and despite the limitations we imposed, she was able to set up four showings in one day on EXTREMELY short notice. She even highlighted and quickly got us into a very new listing which fits all our criteria. She has been very helpful answering our numerous questions and walked us through the process of purchasing a home here in Canterbury. She followed up the viewings with a phone call to find out our feedback and refine her search options. All-in-all it has been an excellent, positive experience. We are hoping to find our dream house soon. Thank you Brooke!

I have been extremely impressed with Miles & Barr from start to finish. I’m a first time buyer and little over a year a go I never thought it would be possible to buy my first home. I’d like to mention a special thanks to Gary Wale and Denise Eccott, both who went above and beyond to make this sale happen. Gary was excellent in finding a lender for me on the market which made my mortgage affordable, without him I wouldn’t be able to have done this. Gary’s communications were on point and humanised in a way I would understand as someone with no experience in this process. Denise also went above and beyond to get this sale through, excellent communication and constantly chasing both solicitors who made this a particularly difficult sale for us. Both Gary and Denise were very reassuring and efficient throughout the process. At times it felt overwhelming and daunting but both always put me at ease knowing the sale was in good hands. Our family sold and purchased through Miles and Barr. All communications were smooth and we received excellent service. A particular mention for Chloe at the Canterbury branch who not only helped in selling our property but was so so helpful throughout the initial phase when there was lots going on! Once we had sold our experience with Denise the sales progressor was faultless. Every step of the way she helped us understand the process keeping us updated every step of the way, and always getting back to me as quickly as possible with any communications. She helped to keep the (often stressful and complex at times) process as smooth as it could be and kept up to date with all that was happening in the chain. Chloe Bond, having had experience with several employees of estate agents and salespeople in general over the years , Chloe was genuine and probably the most helpful honest person who could have helped us sell our house.
