I cannot thank the lovely Rafaela Kyriakidou enough for finding me and my friend an amazing flat and for making this experience as easy and enjoyable as possible. She is super friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and professional and she definitely knows how to get the job done. Very impressed with how smooth this process has been despite the difficulties caused by Covid-19. This has been by far the best experience I've had so far with any letting agency in Canterbury! Mann Lettings in Canterbury have provided me with the best service I had in many years. Especially Paul Hughes and Rafaella Kyriakidou are two of the most communicative, efficient, reliable and pleasant people I've come across. I have let my flats with various agencies and I'm with Mann the last 4 years - any problems are easily solved, as a landlord, I'm immediately informed, presented with options and the work is carried out. They are both on top of things and the most important is they get me tenants 6 months in advance. It's rare to find a good team and to build that trust and I can honestly say that these two are making a huge difference to MannCountrywide and to the relationship the agency builds with their landlords.

After some terrible experience with another estate agents in Canterbury, I decided to go with Mann and Co after being impressed with their professionalism on a house viewing. I was genuinely impressed with all the extra work and effort that they put into the sale of my house (and it was a real challenge at times!) I was going to wait until the end of our student tenancy to review Mann but I am certain the service will never improve, so why would I wait? Mann Lettings will consistently let you down. I don't know whether it is because we are students that we do not get a good service, but if I could give them zero stars, I would. The staff lie to you, the staff contradict each other, the staff make promises they can't keep. No one seems to know what is going on - and that's just the letting agents. Hussam Nurie is the best thing to happen to the company, but there's little he could do for their reputation. Mann Prop - the organisation that is MEANT to look after you and the repairs in your property - are abysmal at best. 6 months in the property and we still have a front door that does not always shut properly and missing panels in our garden fence allowing people to just wander on to the property. We were without a washing machine for a month and nearly scammed into thinking we would have to wait another 6 months (luckily I kept the quoting guys number). The most recent drama is Mann Prop's belief that water leaking from a light socket is "not an emergency" and have left it for two months for the ceiling to fill up. My roommates and I have gone out of our way and spent our own money to fix issues in the house, to replace broken items in the house. Stay away at all costs.

Worst estate agent (£1200 not refunded)

Worst estate agent, whole company is full of scam (its mortgage advice, solicitor panel). They have taken advance payment of £399 for solicitor search and £798 for mortgage for my potential buy. Later the seller pulled from process and I have asked for refund, but they are not refunding my money. This is worst company in the UK to deal with property, mortgage, solicitor panel.

We had a leak from the flat above over 6 months ago which they denied was happening. Danny Kelleher from the Canterbury branch came out straight away to see the problem and to try and help resolve it. Hayley Morgan was also very helpful and kept us informed what was happening. Though this problem took a long time to resolve Danny and Hayley saw this through to its conclusion and could not have been more helpful. I would highly recommend them.

I’m typing this with soo much pain in my heart, we had an unforgettable and emotionally painful experience with Mann Lettings Canterbury. I pray to God to let them experience the same suffering they put us through in endless folds. RUN FOR YOUR LIFE IF YOU VALUE YOUR MONEY AND YOUR WELL-BEING. THESE PEOPLE ARE HORRIBLE, WORST, NOT HELPFUL especially PAUL HUGHES I don’t know how he’s the “Senior Branch Manager” but he was EXTREMELY RUDE AND TERRIBLE to me, and my husband. We went through THE WORST HUMILIATING, DISCRIMINATING, DISRESPECTFUL experience with these people. They kept on lying and lying with different stories every time we call for an update. They care-less about our housing situation even though when we kept explaining and providing evidence with to and their Liar of a referencing company. THE MENTAL TRAUMA we experienced with paul and lauren I wouldn’t even wish that on my worst enemy. PLEASE PEOPLE SAVE YOURSELVES THE TIME, HEADACHE AND MENTAL STRESS AND DONT USE THIS LETTING AGENT IF YOU WANT TO RENT A HOUSE OR SELL YOUR PROPERTY.

I would warn any students against renting from these people, my son rented a propert for a year, he moved out in June, and has been fighting to get his deposit back since then, we call every week and are fobbed off with excuse after excuse, have been promised countless times that it's being sorted, It is now 7th August and he still hasn't got it back so if you're relying on your deposit to rent somewhere else you've got no chance.
