I can not praise Neil and his team highly enough. They exhibit a professionalism, attention to detail, honesty and care that I have not come across in any other estate agency firm in Canterbury. From my phone contact with Charlie, who answered my questions quickly and efficiently to Neil coming to do the valuation and subsequent contact to get the contract agreed and in place, I felt cared for and respected. Please do not hesitate to use Mann of Canterbury for the sale or purchase of your property. Twenty out of ten, more if I could. Absolutely fantastic team.

Refuse scott from knightswood

Everything was fine until we had mould start to grow in our bedroom and bathroom. I called the estate agent who then sent the most arrogant unprofessional bully from a company called Knightswood, his name was Scott (REFUSE THIS PERSON SHOULD HE COME TO YOU) he tried to just paint over the mould with some old Wikes paint he got from the van. I asked him if the mould should be cleaned first but got told no, the paint he's using kills the mould and paints it in one. On the tub it just said wikes wall and ceilings. I googled it and it says nothing about mould treatment. I challenged him again and he got very angry and told me to get him a sponge and water and he'll wipe it away. I was very scared and got him what he asked for. Although I know this too would not work I was too scared to challenge him. I was glad when he left and will never ask mann to send someone again.

I recently moved to Canterbury from London and was able to find a house for my family and myself to move into fairly quickly. This is thanks to Lauren and Danny of Mann Estate Agents, Canterbury. Both Lauren and Danny were extremely helpful, efficient and professional in dealing with my case, stepping in where necessary to expedite the paperwork and moving things along real quickly (with some humour from Danny ). I am impressed and deeply grateful for everything they have done and how easy and effortless they made it seem. A huge thanks to both of you from the bottom of my heart. Exemplary Customer Service!

I predominantly dealt with Morgan at Mann estate agents whilst searching for a property. I cannot praise her highly enough. Out of all the estate agents I have dealt with over the years (there have been many) she is by far and away one of the most thoughtful and thorough. She went over and above to find properties that suited our needs or that could be turned into what we required. Although we didnt buy a house through Mann Countrywide, Morgan has been on hand to support us through buying a house via modern auction and to act as a sounding board for an impartial opinion on the process.

Me and the fiance were looking for a place along with a couple friends. We found one under mann's property lineup. As we went through with our viewing Danny was an exceptionally helpful aid in details, understanding the property and letting us know what needs to be done further. Afterwards we were in constant communication with Lauren once we were accepted as residents of the property, answering even the smallest of the questions as this was our first time with a lot of things. All in all We are exceptionally happy with both the services and the people we got to talk and interact with.

We were looking for a suitable place to rent for quite a few months that I decided to contact Mann to see if they had a proper flat to rent. There, I met Lauren who seemed extremely professional and after a short while she found a flat for us which suits all our requirements at a reasonable budget. Her supports did not stop when we signed the tenancy agreement though, and we are still in touch with them whenever we face a problem with our new flat. I have been renting properties for nearly 20 years and have used many agencies. I have not encountered anything quite so effective, flexible and comprehensive as the service Mann Country Wide and in particular Danny Kelleher and his team offer. Impeccable. From minute one he was on to every aspect of what needed to be done. Their team of workmen, lead by Dave Pollock, were also phenomenal - immediately available, able to solve any gas, electrical, structural, plumbing, heating or decorating issue whilst at the same time being committed to delivering the most economic solutions. I am going no where else.

As a landlord, we found Mann canterbury very difficult to work with. The prices for maintenance were extortionately high and the communication broke down almost completely once they knew we decided to join another agent to manage our property. The branch manager would not handover the paperwork in “good time” to help smooth over this transition process because he just wanted to be difficult. We had work done to our property in August 2022 (contractor organised by the branch manager) and did not get an invoice until May 2023. Some of the charges were incorrect for example Mann had stated they had replaced our kitchen worktop but instead just repaired it and charged us for a new one. We were also quoted £340 for two bathroom basin taps, which costs less than £20. The £180 charge for “servicing” our conservatory door lock was only to oil them as confirmed by our tenant. Work was also done to our property without our authorisation and subsequently charged for it. When we raised this with the portfolio manager, they did not accept responsibility. We have now joined a new agent to manage our property in Canterbury and are much happier. Mann countrywide have let us down completely and would never go back to them under any circumstance and cannot trust them to do right by my property.

Charged me a fully managed Service but…

Charged me a fully managed Service but couldnt fulfill the service as had no keys to my property, charged my 10% when it should have been 7%...refunded me after complaint, never visited my property, visited after complaint but never recieved a report. Left them after 1 year had to pay another year upfront as you need to stay with them for 24 months minimum. So ultimately, i paid double for a Tenant find service. Live and learn!

Yoh... finding a place to rent for the first time is not easy... the application process was difficult but Paul from Mann came through and assisted me preventing me from becoming homeless literally a day before I was kicked out of student accommodation.... he made sure we were sorted before he went home and finished the remaining process the following day... honestly a good hearted and caring person. I am sad beyond words, I don’t know if it’s Mann Canterbury be held accountable or the landlord. I just got the keys to the property. I am give a star to Holly and Jazmine who helped us with the process. But taking 3 stars away for receiving the house in a horrible state. 1) I received a key bunch with over ten keys, only 1 Works. 2) when we got to the house, the lights are not working, the freezer we asked for which was told to us is installed was not there. 3) windows don’t open and the extract above the hob doesn’t work. 4) we were coughing in smoke, because there was no freezer, we had to cook all the non-veg that we had when we moved. It was heart breaking to be honest. We are so bummed.our references took time, it doesn’t mean the landlord or agency didn’t have time to fix these issue . Do they know check the property before handover? Inventory list says, fire deductor does work, and bunch of other critical things, I am surprised by this.
