A wonderful experience. I experienced Leydon lettings both as a single tenant and then as a married one and they could not of been more accommodating. The flat we stayed in was a gem in the heart of Canterbury, it came fully furnished which usually i don’t like, but I loved the layout of this flat. The team at leydon lettings were always vey helpful, If there was an issue it would be sorted right away. Lovely team of people, would highly recommend. Also if your ever in need of help, ask for Marion or Louise.

Terrible customer service, incompitent staff, and exorbitant prices. Students: save yourself the nightmare of dealing with this organisation and find housing elsewhere. The houses look really nice from their adds but everything else is horrendous. We don't get any price reduction for the summer before we had moved in and the landlords repeatedly show up without notice--breaking the contract. If you're lucky, you can get a minor problem fixed after three weeks, but it mostly takes about a month for any reply. Do not choose Leydon Lettings. Editting over a year later once our contract finally ended. The individual who did the inventory check out claimed we stole the microwave--WHICH WE BOUGHT. They then broke the blinds and claimed we did it, even though I have photo evidence that they were fine when we moved out, and broken after he adjusted them. I'm utterly disgusted that these people are allowed to remain in business. THEY'RE EVEN CHARGING US FOR DUST ON THE LIGHT SWITCHES.

Just wanted to share a review from a contractor's point of view. We've worked with Leydon Lettings for a number of years now and are very happy doing business with them. All of their staff are extremely friendly and often go the extra mile for us when having to organise works with tenants and landlords under very challenging conditions, not least with Covid-19 as an additional responsibility. Nothing is too much to ask and everyone is very professional and very responsive at all times. Communication and on-time financial settlements are key for us as a small family run business and Leydon Lettings certainly never let us down with either. They are a joy to work with and are consistently professional despite very tough challenges in this current climate. Leydon Lettings have been amazing for myself and my housemates. We are university students living in Canterbury. The house that we currently live in had a love hate relationship with us when we first moved in and due to it being an older house there were quite a few issues that needed to be addressed. Marian and Zainab have been incredible in dealing with these issues quickly and efficiently for us and we absolutely love the house! We have even chose to renew our contract for our last year of university in September! Highly reccomend:)

The flat I rent is really good and I've had no major problems with it. Leydon Lettings is very responsive, reliable and fair. I've found the Leydon Lettings property agent to be extremely helpful and responsive, there's is little to no delay in getting response to any query I might have. They also have a very good after hours contact, in case you get looked out of the house. I've locked myself out of my flat a few times and only had to wait 30mins for a someone to come and let me back in. I'd highly recommend renting from Leydon Lettings (they also gave everyone £10 Justeat vouchers for Christmas!)PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

I've never actually written a review before but I felt that Leydon Lettings is deserving of one. Having dealt with difficult lettings agents in the past it was freshening living with Leydon over the past year. All members of staff are polite, accommodating and reasonable. In all honesty the house does need a little make over but any request that we made was met with a speedy response and I am sure it is the same for all residents in Leydon Lettings houses. I would recommend Leydon Lettings to all students looking to rent in Canterbury, they are definitely the best letting agents in Canterbury by far.PositiveResponsiveness, Professionalism

Don’t use Leydon Lettings (a sound warning ⚠️) It always took them a long time to react when we had any ongoing issues regarding the house. The house wasn’t exactly spotless when we moved it but somehow they wanted to charge us a huge amount of our deposit to clean the house... they then massively lowered it after constant back and forth emails and phone calls. Don’t use Leydon Lettings friends.

Leydon Lettings were generally very helpful and supportive throughout my time renting with them. They were able to fix issues that we had with the house, and regularly replied to any emails promptly. I would recommend using them as your university landlord as they are professional and can generally be relied upon. Any times there were any issues with them they were sorted eventually or an alternative solution was found.

Overall, having stayed with Leydon they have dealt with our issues when they have come up, and communication with Leydon themselves has been great. However, the contractors that Leydon hire have missed days without informing us, this isn't Leydon's fault, but there have been days where we have waited and not been informed no one was coming.

I've been renting through Leydon Lettings for the past two years and they've made the whole process from contract signing to moving-out go effortless. They respond immediately to their emails and have an online report-a-repair service, which is very handy and their contractors do their best to come as soon as possible and fix the issue.
