Agents very helpful when viewing houses; they knew all the information we wanted to know, and if they didn't they would let us know as soon as they found out. Very efficient at getting back to us with any queries about our house purchase. Dan was super helpful and even got back to us late at night when we had some questions. We would definitely use again if we needed to.

My experience of dealing with the Broadstairs Branch of Miles and Barr was positive from start to finish. They really are a first rate team and everyone my daughter and I engaged with was pleasant and helpful without being in anyway pushy, patronising or overbearing. I was particularly impressed with the viewing agents who provided access on the two visits I made to the property. They were both affable and obliging without being in any way intrusive. The person with whom I had regular contact was the Sales Coordinator for the Broadstairs office. The lady is totally professional in the service she delivers. She treated me with the utmost consideration throughout the purchase process keeping me well informed of developments and dealing with my questions and concerns in an exemplary manner. She’s cheerful, positive and exudes confidence - a real credit to the organisation she represents. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Miles and Barr to anyone looking to buy or sell a property in the Broadstairs area.

If I could leave less than 1 star I would!!If you place a deposit on a new property the warranty does not comply with the code of practice. Then when you complain you recieve a letter that blames you as the potential purchaser and is full of mistruths and fairy tales. Avoid at all costs!!Yes I got a reply, that failed to address any of my complaint, and blamed everything on me. Made up the contents of emails which do not reflect the emails recieved. Made other false staments of their actions to cover up their failings. But are not prepared to discuss the evidence with me that demonstrates their failings. They did point out that the warranty provider they relied upon was now based in Gibraltar and covers the EU! It turns out that the original warranty company went into liquidation several years ago!! Perhaps the less than one star was generous. Try minus one!!!!AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!

A simple task saw a parcel of land for sale in deal. The ad as slightly confusing and so as a cash buyer rang the deal office to verify my thoughts and arrange a viewing. This began at 11.am five phone calls later still trying to get some one to ring me back. Finally at 3.30 a call. Guess what I did nt bother answering I was just so annoyed by their un professionalism.i have to say Claudia their receptionist was very polite each time I rang. I am an ex managing director myself in the service industry and was extremely disappointed I hope miles and Barr directors read this they have a lot of work to do. Will not be using or recommending this company to anyone until things improve.

Buying a home is one of the most important life decisions you have totake so having a professional who can guide you through the process is vital. I was extremely lucky as I had Lynette from the Canterbury office to assist me with the viewings. She was very knowledgeable about the properties and patient with my observations and feedback, accepting both with interest and good humour. She always sensed when to give me more time to look around but never really tried to persuade when she sensed a lost cause. Something many estate agents could learn from. Thank you for your help and guidance.

Both Louise and Karen were very supportive during the process which spanned nearly five months, the developer was less than transparent and a tricky customer stating that the property would be finished within a month of payment of the reservation fee … both Louise and Karen ploughed on regardless and kept me on board .. I must admit I considered pulling out on many occasions. Well done

We cannot fault Miles and Barr in Broadstairs.From our first meeting with Sarah and explaining we had a tight time line to sell, to then accepting an offer in a short space of time. Their attention to detail and regular updates have been invaluable. The agents that carried out our viewings, Alan, Hermoine and Tyler showed absolute respect for our property and dealt with the viewings in a professional manner. Throughout the whole experience the total dedication of Annie the Deputy manager has been exceptional. Annie has without doubt gone above and beyond to help us get where we needed to be within our time frame, we simply cannot thank her enough. When a professional team like Miles and Barr work as hard as they have for us then it should be acknowledged and they all deserve a massive Thank you.

I moved into a property that had leaks and doors hanging off. The first leak was fixed after a week of dripping all in the bathroom. There was damp in my fitted wardrobes which is from the bath leaking. I moved in last October and this issue is still on going. I have been more than passionate… no duty of care for the people renting.

Natalie Heard has been an absolute star helping us through our applications and giving any information we need or anything we are stuck on she has helped massively! All the staff I spoke to have all been so lovely and patient aswell.
