Had the unfortunate experience of buying a house off PS last year - has a bad reputation in Yeovil and surrounding areas for a reason! Emails and calls ignored, rude & unhelpful sleezy staff, excessive amounts of back and forth. Tried to intimidate me into paying asking price even though house had long list of snags, would not present my offer on my home to their solicitor, ended up having to get my solicitor to present the offer which ended up getting accepted. I was a first time buyer, no chain and it took me 1 year to get the keys! At a time where I was buying my first home and was supposed to be new and exciting turned into a nightmare. Extremely unhelpful, condescending staff in Yeovil & Martock - After asking around on Facebook and word of mouth a lot of people have pulled out from their sales or whatnot for these exact reasons. When you ask around, they have a very bad reputation buying and selling. Save yourself the stress and headaches and go literally anywhere else! Lacey’s and tower wills if you want a proper job, Palmer snell STAY CLEAR!

End to end a bad experience

We are renting an apartment through Palmer Snell and it has been very difficult to navigate the administration. Their portals for completing the initial admin don't work. If you ask them for help to get around the issues they create they are curt and come back with brief and unhelpful answers. It feels like they are being duplicitous. Either they don't know the answers themselves when they should, or in other instances they do but don't want to tell you because it makes them look bad or they are actually doing something wrong. They come across as untrustworthy and certainly living here has been a challenging, stressful and unpleasant experience. They don't drive essential admin like snag lists. We don't know how to turn on the heat. There is no love in their process. Only coldness and curtness. I would never choose to live in a home managed by them again.

I couldn't reccomend this team enough! Lovely people! Within a week of applying for a viewing I have moved in to my new place! Given this won't happen everytime because some places need more work than others but the paperwork is streamlined and easy to follow! If you have any questions the team are able to answer your calls or emails very quickly and offer lots of help! I was very impressed with the young girl (sorry I forgot your name) It was her first week shadowing and was very helpful I can imagine she will have a great future with the company! Also the other young lady that sorted my dad a flat out was so professional and made everything easy to process! Matt was amazing and seems like he knows his stuff! Very respectable and a good laugh aswell! (I have his card that's why I remembered his name 😅) Overall what a lovely experience and if I ever move or want to buy I'm definatly going with this team! A very distressing experience.

Palmer Snell Yeovil states that ‘This branch and the business is committed to making the services they offer accessible to all customers.' This is not my experience. I asked Charlie to email me the terms and conditions so I could enlarge them on my computer. Promised to 'send something when I get home', but he did not. I also said I would find it difficult to upload my ID documents to an app. No help was offered. I got the impression he regarded me as a nuisance and had decided to ignore me. A very distressing experience.
