Good Afternoon Darren, As a business we of course take reviews very seriously and here at Oliver Jaques, we continually strive to provide an exemplary service to our clients, so are naturally very disappointed that you have chosen to use this particular platform to express your views rather than utilising our internal complaints procedure to raise any queries or problems you felt you had. We appreciate that the property market can be very frustrating at times. As a selling agent we are obliged to communicate any offer that we receive to the seller at any time, regardless of the current status of any other offers. In this instance we received a considerably higher offer in writing within 12 days of agreeing the sale to you. The seller felt that the new party was in a preferable position to yourself and chose to accept this offer instead, withdrawing from the sale to you in the process. This was communicated to you in writing and you were informed that you were at liberty to make a counter offer if you wished to do so. We can only apologise to you if you feel aggrieved at our actions. We act in accordance with industry guidelines at all times and this does sadly mean that on rare occasions some parties do miss out. As we try not to enter into lengthy discussions in response to our google reviews, should you feel that you would like to discuss this matter further with us, please do not hesitate to contact us or pop into the office and we will be more than happy to discuss things.
