Never met anyone more incompetent and unprofessional than Kimberly Miranda and Meg Jackson. I was a tenant with CBRE for 1 year, and I had several important issues with them. The main is that I reported that my heating did not work on the 8th January. Both of them did absolutely nothing for 2 months. I had to search and reach out to my landlord on LinkedIn (!!) to make him aware of my issues with heating as well as of the negligence towards his property that CBRE were demonstrating. The landlord then told them to sort the issue immediately as it was utterly unacceptable that a paying tenant is without properly functioning heating for 2 months during the depts of winter. During this time, I basically had a full time job chasing these two, who in the end still failed to find a solution and the landlord (who pays them to manage his property!) had to look for the right contractor himself as Kimberly and Meg were both incapable of doing so on their own. I have now luckily moved out, but of course the problems persist as it’s been more than a week since my last tenancy day, and they have yet to send me the check out inventory, and god knows when I’ll see my deposit back as I’ll probably have to open a case with TDS given their incompetence throughout the whole tenancy. Oh and when I moved in, they of course forgot to leave the keys to the flat, and also did not leave me with an emergency number to call. I had movers coming and I couldn’t enter the property for hours. The security of the building then let me in with the spare key, but again, it’s the very basic job of an estate agent to provide the keys to an apartment on the first day. I had even sent them a reminder, and even so, they forgot (bare in mind I’m not their project manager, they shouldn’t be sent reminders, but even if you go the extra mile, they will still NOT do their job). Absolutely shameful behaviour, avoid if you’re both a tenant or a Landlord, as you’ll be paying them and still do more work than if you didn’t, so big is the mess they create.

Moved into our apartment in London Dock in early March and we are on our 3rd CBRE property manager in 2.5 months and the service has been terrible. CBRE assumed it was fine to rent an apartment with soiled mattresses, bedroom curtains hanging off, a fly infestation, broken windows, missing light bulbs and countless other issues. Mattresses apart we are still waiting for a resolution to many of these issues today. Seems like CBRE are happy to collect letting agent fees without taking any responsibility in managing contractors or visiting the property.
