Called them to ask few information about few houses that they have available on their website. And it gave me the impression that they have so many people going after them that they are in a rush to hang up the phone, giving me short answers and telling me to look up on their website. I am sorry you guys might be great at what you do, but you should threat your costumers with more respect, afterall we are not buying candies, its a property and you guys may close loads of deals everyday and for you we are only one individual, but for someoene who is investing, it is a big deal.

The worst estate agent in London. If you would like to sell your property, they won`t be able to get the highest offer - if you would like to buy a property they won`t allow you to view it, put an offer. Their system is absolutely terrible. I found a property on the market, I would like to view it but they said it s under offer. If it is under offer , why it is still on the market? You can mark it as an under offer or sold. They just want to take details of people to their data. If you want to have a good deal, be away from them!

Read the small print about ridiculous high extra fees

Like other reviewers, hidden fees on small print. How can you charge £1200 buyers fee and other solicitors fees on the main page around £2000 in regards to legal pack/searches. Then hidden all the way in the end of the ‘special condition’ charge £3600 for sellers solicitors fees and £3900 for buyers premium?? And not provided invoices. A total scam!

MUST READ!!!!! I originally came to know of McHugh & Co whilst driving past their offices regularly to eat at a burger place that is not far from them. I approached them and from the first contact I had with them, I knew they were very much on the ball. I spoke with Marino who laid out an action plan of how it was going to be marketed without him even seeing the property! Instructed them 24 hours later and they had got in contact with my solicitor to get the legal pack generated immediately. Very active unlike other auctioneers these guys are well worth every penny of their fee. They had kept me updated regarding downloads and viewings etc (something I have not experienced with other auction houses I’ve used in the past). If you are seriously considering selling, then these guys are a must! Thank you McHugh & Co and thank you Marino for all your efforts!

Go with Paul Buchanan

Paul Buchanan was a total star in my quest for a flat in London. I was living in Spain when he assisted my house hunting and while other agents from other agencies were giving me hell with remote viewings and sending me flats that didn’t meet my needs, Paul was always sending me so many nice properties and following up with tenants to see if new flats would become available. He is not your average robot agent, he actually shows his personality and jokes around. In the end I had to go for a different place because I decided to move to a different area for personal reasons. However, if I have to move places again I will contact him for sure.
