Our woes with johns and co continue sadly. All access tags are due to be updated today. Wait in line only to be told the tags we got from johns are not original and they refuse to help us. But wait we can pay £60 for new ones….but jokes on us as they suddenly refuse to issue knew ones without approval. We are told to call for help at the door….get there and system is offline….now we wait 20 min to sneak in with someone else. Call johns and log issue on system….get someone on the phone who promises to email the concierge to issue us new ones….3 hours later we try again….but surprise suprise they never mailed…we wait again to sneak in with someone else. Cant make this stuff up. So now half a day later and no responses and no help from anyone.

I am writing once again to remind everyone to avoid engaging with JOHNS and Co due to their extremely poor and disrespectful treatment of clients.Despite my initial review and their assurance that they would address the problem, the situation has only deteriorated. They have now stated that they will return my money only if I agree to work with them again. This is wholly unacceptable and amounts to coercion and theft.Their refusal to return my funds (£2,405) without imposing further conditions not only fails to resolve the initial issue but also forces clients into unwanted business dealings. This behavior is unprofessional and unethical.Please consider this a strong warning against JOHNS and Co. Their practices are not only untrustworthy but also detrimental to any potential client relationship.

If property hunting isn’t hard enough, Johns & Co or the agent we were dealing with didn’t make it any easier.In fact, we were lead on to believe a property we like is as good as ours, she knew we had cats and after seeing the property and her in person, we got the ball rolling. Only for her to tell us 20mins later that cats aren’t allowed. At this point we already signed an agreement to hold the property, and found a tenant for our old property which we now had to lose.We pleaded saying we’ll pay for damages, but they took this golden, somewhat staged opportunity to increase the rent and we were in a very bad situation that we just said fine. Already feeling the distrust and distasteful treatment, we decided to pull out and ask for the holding deposit back because we couldn’t find a new tenant for the new property and we weee out of pocket. Vanessa withheld vital contract info regarding the holding deposit and told us to just refer to documents we had. These very documents stated that if both parties are not happy with agreement, the holding deposit can be paid back. We have even spoken to Goodlord officials and reviewed the law on this. Even then, she refused to be transparent, and eventually saying she’ll hold on to the deposit for a different property.Here’s the kicker, after constant badgering us, pushing to view properties with 10+ messages a day, we end up saying okay and then those properties she brought forward don’t accept cats… when she knows our situation. So it was an emotional rollercoaster that I don’t recommend.

If you're considering purchasing a property, steer clear of them. Their entire team failed to disclose that the house I was interested in had failed a safety test and required cladding replacement. I only discovered this issue after persistently questioning the estate agent, who had repeatedly assured me that the property was fully compliant. I'm uncertain who is to blame, but I'm appalled that such basic safety requirements were overlooked. I've wasted three months dealing with this situation.

When we first moved in to our flat managed by Johns&Co we had a very unresponsive property manager that left issues unaddressed. Its been 2.5 years and thankfully that person has moved on. Our new property manager, Terry, has done a wonderful job in adding the right amount of urgency to get our maintenance issue addressed by the landlord. We just renewed our tenancy in part due to this service.

Mr. Param Virdee is a very helpful and capable property manager. He resolved the return mails problem fir me as a tenant. There were many Royal mails belonged to landlord, who is living in London, delivered to my address in Manchester. Given the fact that I don't know landlord's address. Mr. Param Virdee informed landlord to update his/her address with respective parties and asked the local property agent to collect all mails from me for redirect to landlord.
