Moving house can be a nightmare, but Rahim at Benham and Reeves made the entire process smooth and stress-free. Rahim was a professional, efficient, and had the right amount of empathy. Wesley was understanding and very helpful, my move in went smoothly with no stress.Since then I have renewed lease 3 times. The service was good until it came to the point of payment of my rental amount. I informed the office that I have permission from HMRC not to debit my rental 20% tax as a foreign citizen, because I am doing my self assessment for a long time , and no other agency removed my taxes from my rental amount. I was surprised to receive the funds less 20% taxes. I was told to contact HMRC myself and give them your agency reference number to claim my money back. I believe I should have been told what to do before payment was made, and I should have been given the agency reference in advance, not afterwards. I classify it as non care attitude, to be honest.
