GoogleWe recently sold our central Cambridge home of 33 years through RAH with the professional knowledge and advice of Steve Wells and Jane Bailey. All aspects of the sale, from the initial valuing, through the photography and marketing, viewings, follow-ups to the sale itself, were conducted with expert advice and sensitive personal guidance. Our circumstances, along with current market conditions, were carefully taken into account in steering the sale through in conjunction with our solicitor. Completion was reached inside three months. Highly recommended.

RAH were the estate agent for both my purchase and sale, overall their staff seemed friendly and quick through the process but I cannot give more than 3 stars for the absolutely awful recommendation they made for a law firm called HCR Law. This firm slowed down the process by months, just running up the bill for the buyers and frustrating everybody in the chain. It took nearly 7 months to sell a new build flat (of which other flats in the same estate sold without issue in the meantime). I would use RAH again, but I would never accept a recommendation for a solicitor from them, nor would I accept an offer without knowing who the buyers solicitor was and simply reading some reviews.

GoogleAVOID, AVOID,AVOID… If you looking to rent! Family member rented with them via Cambridge branch for 2 years and was OK, until moving out. They only want you to use their cleaners and make a point of stressing the importance of this, and even when use professional end of tenancy cleaners of your own choice,with a certificate and free call back service agency STILL bring in there own cleaners and charged them for full end of tenancy clean even though obviously was NOT required! Also tried to charge to have 2 freezer draws ( that needed replacing) professionally fitted at a extravagant cost! All you had to do was open freezer and slid them in! AND gave tenants wrong colour paint information ( as was told to touch up areas) this was brought to agencies attention, they said was their decorators that gave / passed on wrong colour. ( so clearly not tenants fault as bought and used what agency told them) BUT… They not only did nothing to rectify their mistake but charged tenants £600 towards full house paint! And agency since lied saying did not give wrong colour paint! RAH Cambridge seem to do all they can to keep your deposit and even try to charge more as in my family’s case! Date of experience: August 10, 2023 Edit UPDATE TO YOUR REPLY .. You say not left in expected condition! What a cheek when mismatched paint was caused by YOURSELVES giving tenants wrong colour which you was well aware off before tenants left ‘ your check out clearly stated! so you knew this when decided when to paint whole house but INSTEAD correcting your mistake and taking responsibility and pay costs for your mistake, made tenants pay !!! And you say have discussed at length points raised with tenants… NO not true! You had and have ignored your mistakes and failings ( apart from one employee admitting it was your decorators that gave wrong colour paint) and went behind back of tenants with your cleaners and decorators and hit them with a huge bill Also your check out did NOT state needed another full end if tenancy clean yet you disregarded this and brought your own cleaners in and again charged tenants another £260! Even now can NOT Own up to your mistake and lies! Delete Share
Thank you for leaving us a review and we are sorry to hear that your family member was unhappy with their exiting experience. We have discussed the points raised in great length with the tenant. As you may be aware the process was referred to the TDS deposit scheme adjudication process who made the decision on the deposit. They awarded the funds accordingly. It is always hard when a tenant leaves and the property is not left in the expected condition. We ensure that tenants are made aware of their obligations before they leave a property.

Googleextremely bad, they bully foreigner tenants. I told them I wanted to join the check-out inspection, they told me yes, but did not tell me the exact time, when I arrived there, the inspector did not allowed me and friend do the inspection together! The inspector said I was not allowed to attend the inspection! I asked him to show me pictures and problem, he rejected to show me! And the landlord said we are trespass to be there! It is my human right to do the check-out inspection together! They infringe my right! Landlord threat me he will call the police. All right, we called the police! We recorded the whole conversation! We complaint to the agent, the agent slandered we shouted to their officers as well! SHOW me your CCTV! SHOW me your evidence! They bully me my English is bad, it is a kind of discrimination! Everyone must fight against it!

GoogleSteve Wells is an excellent agent. I was amazed at how quickly were we able to sell our house for a good price with no hitches. He gave us good advise and listened to what we asked for which was for the house to be available to be seen whenever a customer wanted to see it and he was very accomodating. It sold almost immediately. I highly recommend Steve and the office which seems to have to most listings and sales in Cambridge.

We are looking to move out soon and Rachel has been very accomodating with organising viewings and helping us understand the process and what is needed. While the actual property has experienced frequent disruptions over the last couple of months we have found Rachel to be transparent throughout.

When it comes to selling your property with RAH it is an ongoing anxiety and stress causing nightmare ..they take your property off market with incompetent potential buyers offers and let them take time wasting ages before they drop out. They seem to be totally incompetent time wasting nincampoops and create no pressure on the buyers, disregarding the seller they should be representing. Bad disappointing experience with such arrogant incompetent personnel. If only Nick and Simon Redmayne were still around it would be likethe good old team they represented. Now arrogant self important incompetent sales staff just mismanage everything
