We sold our house through RAH. Steve Wells was very professional and polite throughout the process of valuing the property and getting it on the market. They have a good online portal for coordinating viewings and feedback, and we sold our property for the asking price within four weeks. Our house purchase was via a different agent, but RAH went above and beyond in supporting us through the process which was very difficult and fraught. Steve advised us about renegotiating a price, and Sasha McNally was an absolute angel in keeping us and others in the chain as informed as possible throughout. Sasha was on our side and was hugely helpful in navigating tense moments between different solicitors to get the best possible outcome for us. I am very glad this is all over, and we’re not planning on moving again for many years, but when we do we will return to use RAH. many thanks.

We rented a property from RA&H for the last year and had a great experience from the start. Our property manager, James Travers, was excellent with promptly getting us settled in as well as responding to any maintenance requests we had (rare as the property was in great condition). I found the entire rental process to be very clear, transparent, and full of information and great communication. Highly recommend James! Upon leaving the property, I advise any future renters to ensure the property is returned to exact conditions as defined in the original inventory report. We had missed a few details when we moved out, but RA&H were extremely reasonable and fair, and we were able to address these points ourselves for a full deposit return. RA&H is a great agency that really sets high quality standards, which is very refreshing, and if we ever become landlords I’d hire them to manage our property in a second!

Jessica is a first rate property manager and a credit to the RAH team. As a first time landlord I was a bit nervous about getting it right. I needn't have worried Jessica gave me excellent advice, found me really good tenants, sorted out all the legalities quickly and efficiently and when any maintenance issues arose, had access to reliable tradespeople. I really can't recommend Redmayne Arnold & Harris enough. RAH did a fantastic job of marketing and selling our house. Originally we made the mistake of using another local "reputable" agent, who [to say it nicely] simply failed on every count. From no fault of RAH our sale fell through, so instead we used them as a rental agent instead. That was back in 2023, and we've been continuously impressed ever since. We've had great tenants. Communication has been flawless, and it's made the process really simple. We've also had to upgrade various parts of the property, and RAH have continuously taken the burden off us and found high quality tradesman for reasonable prices (believe me, we've checked!) We would therefore happily recommend RAH as both a selling agent and rental agent.

'Peace of mind' is the phrase that readily comes to mind. As a relative newcomer to Cambridge, it was important to find a home to rent while we are growing a tech business. More importantly was to find a home where the inevitable maintenance and break/repair issues would be quickly and efficiently dealt with. RAH is an excellent estate agent! I chose to use RAH for two reasons: (1) From what I could see, RAH was dealing with a large share of the properties on the market. And importantly, these properties were NOT overpriced. (2) After talking to Natasha (RAH Shelford), all the things I was trying to make sense of came into alignment. And I could see a clear path forward. Natasha is the vendor's agent!! This speaks volumes about her talent and personality. I will use RAH for two reasons: (1) My agent Steve (RAH Cambridge) is lovely person and a brilliant agent. He had an excellent pricing strategy, took brilliant pictures that showcased my house and carried out great marketing. My property was under offer in less than a week. This was less than 2 weeks after I met Steve!!! (2) Both Steve and Natasha protected my mental health. In the latter stages of the conveyancing process, I went through many emotions. Predominantly a lot of rage, mixed in with feelings of frustration and helplessness. I had had enough. But they supported and encouraged me. I will always be very grateful for that.

My housemates and I have just started renting a house together via Redmayne, Arnold and Harris and we are very impressed with the company so far. Besides from some brief confusion about the agreed rent price meaning we had to re-sign a contract (partly on us!), they has been very organised and punctual, with great attention to detail and genuine clientele care. It is great to see RA&H take this personal and professional approach to lettings; considering the current UK housing climate, this is something that estate agents could easily push aside, but RA&H doesn't. Rengin has been acting as our lettings negotiator and she has been superb- consistently knowledgeable, friendly and happy to help with even the smallest query- really adding that personal touch to renting with the company. The property we have moved into hasn't been perfectly deep cleaned, with some grease on the kitchen windowsills and general dust and grime present, but that's more on our landlord. Even so, sending in a cleaning team to every property before move-in would be good for that final touch. All of this makes us feel very confident in RA&H moving forward. If things go well and I continue to live in Cambridge in the distant future, I would certainly go to them. I'll aim to update this review in the future.
