Since Jordan Cumberland became our contact point for our lease everything has been smooth - he is very responsive, organised, and gets things done.
Great to hear Jordan has been responsive and thank you for the review.

Had a brilliant experience with RAH so far. I'd like to especially thank Hannah for her tireless work on securing our current property despite some potential issues arising. Extremely responsive and attentive to our needs. 10/10 - would highly recommend.PositiveResponsiveness, Professionalism

Jason Harvey acted for a neighbour of mine who recommended him highly when she heard we wanted to downsize, Jason's valuation of our property was higher than others, his fee lower than others, and the service he provided was truly exceptional. My wife and I have bought and sold four houses in the course of our lives; not until Jason did I think an estate agent deserved the high fee they charge. Jason earned every pound. Throughout a fairly traumatic and stressful four-month process, he guided us, encouraged us, calmed us, and reassured us as required with courtesy and good humour. Jason handled negotiations with the buyer expertly and delivered a sale for the asking price in the difficult context of a falling housing market, and one always felt he was on our side. He has my strongest recommendation.

Professional, accommodating and always on top of any issues. I've used RAH for both rental management and sale of 2 properties. They have been great on both fronts. Would recommend.
Good morning, Great to hear that both the Sales and Lettings teams have offered you the level of service expected. Thank you for the review and we hope we can assist you again in the future.

I was looking at an apartment recently and Steve Wells was a huge help. I didn't end up buying a property with him, but he was top notch with his service - I would highly recommend!

Fantastic company who really supported me when looking for a new rental property. Would like to thank Hannah, Vinnie and Frank for their guidance and support. I will 100% be recommending RAH in the future!

I have known RAH since 1994 when Nick Redmayne sold my mother's house - my family home. They sold my own house in Cambridge when I downsized in 2013, and now they have sold a house which I had responsibility for (although did not own). All the staff act with total professionalism, courtesy and friendliness. I particularly commend Steve Wells for finding and helping me pick the right buyer, and Jane Bailey for easing the wheels of negotiation throughout the sale process. I recommend RAH without any hesitation.

100% the worst estate agent we have ever dealt with . You will not get you deposit back absolutely dreadful service . We were also left with no freezer for over 9 months as it stopped working and nothing was done about it . Deducted £90 of our deposit for the extractor fan not working when the switch was just turned off . We lost £1600 of our deposit . Do not trust this company as a tenant. If We could rate lower then 1 star we would. Absolute nightmare to deal with .

We chose RAH as they really new the neighbourhood and market value of our house. Sold within 2 weeks and very happy with the service provided. Our buyer was a little early with their offer as waiting for probate and perhaps RAH should have advised us to decline their offer but in the end everything went smoothly and we would not hesitate to recommend them.

Many thanks for your review.

My experience with this company was absolutely shocking and I consider barely legal, my experience also reflects that of previous negative reviews regarding retaining deposit on drummed up cleaning requirements. I rented a flat which clearly hadn't been invested in and was dirty and full of rubbish prior to my entering. On exiting the flat I left it in a better condition then I received it. After I vacated the flat I was informed that most of my deposit would be held for 'cleaning'. When I contested the cost of the cleaning mysteriously went up. Very unsavory. I got my deposit back through the TDC. I lived in a block of flats, my neighbour and others also rented through RAH and didn't get their deposit back unless they went through the TDC. Either avoid or make sure you pick up every detail in the inventory, take photos and emails and be prepared to go to the TDC.NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

Couldn't have asked for more help
Couldn't have asked for more help and support when we sold our house in Cambridge. It was a probate sale so quite protracted but we had plenty of viewings and offers and the advice on offer was valuable and useful. Overall, a very positive experience, with fees considerably lower than with the other agents we invited to 'tender'. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

A first class service from start to finish. The property sold quickly for an excellent price, the staff were friendly and communicative without being pushy. Would definitely use them again. Highly recommended.
Good afternoon Chris, great to hear you had such a good experience with selling through Redmayne Arnold and Harris. Thank you for taking the time to leave the team a review.

Amy Elbrow is the most proactive, reliable and commercially minded property manager I have worked with.

Pleased to have engaged RAH to sell my house. From preparing to put it on the market to keeping me in touch with progress on viewings and offers, I had a sense that they wanted to make this major life event as trouble-free as possible. When the original buyers pulled out, Christy in the office was really efficient in getting things back on track and within a short time things were moving again.

Amy has been remarkably efficient and has made the management of our property very easy.

RAH have been managing our investment properties in Cambridge for some years now. Have found their service to be professional, efficient and well managed. Big shout out for Rachel McGowan there.
Hello Graham, great review thank you

As a tenant renting through them for 4 years they were terrible. Specifically had 4 different property managers in that time who went from excellent (Karen) to awful. The main issue is getting them to contact landlords about repairs etc - twice the boiler broke down in December leaving no hot water / heating. Both times it took them over five days to contact the landlord and then another week to get sorted. For context I was renting my own property out on the south coast and ensured the tenants had 24/7 plumber access and wouldn’t dream of leaving them weeks on end without these services. When escalating there seemed to be no one to take responsibility -I was told to take showers at the gym and wear extra layers. Of course dodgy landlords may like this as it seem like the agency isn’t bothering them hence the 5 star reviews but they treat their tenants poorly. In the end the second time I ordered the boiler part on google and got a local plumber to install and subtracted this from the next months rent but even that was a battle. The cherry on the top was getting charged an extra cleaning fee for leaving rubbish in the recycling and normal waste bin on leaving (despite paying the council tax for these services - both bins less than half full). I popped back to pick some mail up the next week and put the bins on the street to be emptied - I sent photos of the empty bins to try and get a refund for the craic but alas no luck! Avoid avoid avoid as a tenant.

I contacted the office in Cambridge through email regarding a particular rental property they had advertised with some basic questions. I didn’t ever get a reply. So, I forwarded the original email and politely asked if they could either let me know if the property had been rented, if not could they reply to either email. I received no email, so I called. Was advised someone who handles there rental market would return my call and heard nothing. To be fair, I’m glad how they have shown a lack of interest, priority, concern and poor customer service at such an early stage. I can see from past reviews not everyone has been so fortunate. To conclude: 2 emails sent, 1 telephone call made! Zero response from agents.

Jordan has been very helpful and quickly resolves any issues that may come up.
