I don't think I've ever had such a good relationship with a lettings agent! From start to finish these guys have been amazing, they've been so helpful and responsive to any issues we've raised. After renting a flat with them for 2 years they made the whole checking out process really simple and straight forward. I bought a flat through Radcliffe and Rust in 2014. They were really pleasant to deal with throughout, easy to get hold of, friendly and informative. I hated that flat. Buying it was the biggest unforced error I’ve ever made in my life. I’ve recently sold it and, during the process of selling, worked out that I must have paid at least £20,000, maybe £30,000, more than it was worth in 2014. You should never forget that estate agents work for the seller. They did a great job for my sellers: I paid a lot more than it was worth for a flat that never suited me and was never made to feel like a fool by R&R while I was doing so. The sale went through really quickly but I never felt they were rushing me into my huge mistake. Can’t fault them.

I was really impressed with Radcliffe & Rust. Having had many negative experiences with rental agencies in Cambridge, it was lovely to come across a team that are honest about their properties and their fees (which are substantially less than their competitors!) We rang at 6pm on the off chance that we would be able to view a property that looked ideal, and were able to view it the next morning (a Saturday, no less) at 9am. On viewing the property, we were not disappointed- it looked even better than the photos, and we agreed a tenancy by 9.30am! Having dealt mainly with Richard, I can honestly say that I expect nothing more from a property manager- he's always on the end of a phone when needed, is approachable and knowledgable, and will ensure that any minor glitches or problems are sorted in record time. We're very happy in our new rental property and it's been a pleasure to interact with such a small firm with such efficient, personal service. Really Excellent! If you want a straightforward, personalised and efficient service then go to Radcliffe & Rust! We currently rent a beautiful little flat from them that we moved into in April. Being students, we found dealing with a lot of the big letting agencies in Cambridge a real pain, often being lied to about fees / shown inaccurate pictures of properties / being sent to view totally inappropriate properties. Renting from R&R has been a breath of fresh air; both Richard & David are friendly, honest and approachable. They have provided us with useful help & advice many times before and since our move, and have always been very quick to sort out any problems we have encountered along the way. We had good relationship as tenants but the moving out out procedure was a bit painful. Communication was not ideal but that was only a minor issue. We trusted the agent to do viewings while we were not at the flat as we had moved out already. When I went to check the condition of the flat at the last day, I noticed that they have left the lights on and the heating on the booster setting! I doubt that it was done on purpose as it could easily just be someone that viewed the house or the cleaning service that they hired. Either way it was extremely frustrating and inflated our electricity bill.
