Avoid if you can, if you have to let from them make sure you do your own inventory as theirs won’t be accurate and they will try and blame you for previous tenants damage, nightmare trying to get deposit back and they will bend over backwards to try and keep some. Also make sure you check your belongings if they do a show round when you aren’t there, even if you are still a legal tenant and have belongings in the property they will take them and throw away with very much a “well we thought you’d finished moving out attitude” personal mail and documents......... illegal Bush! In response to the response from Bush, my items were thrown away on a day that we were most definitely still tenants but no longer residing at the property, I went back to the property on the last day of tenancy to meet the man doing the final inspection, I still had the keys as I let myself in and gave the keys to this gentleman, when I called the office asking where my items were I was told they had been thrown away when the last show around was done, again, we were still legal tenants and have an email from your office asking permission for this show around, there absolutely was personal mail thrown and the lady I spoke to asking about them said she just grabbed it and wasn’t sure of what was there and couldn’t look as it had been thrown away, surely a more appropriate action would’ve been a courtesy call? Regardless, accountability for wrong doing as opposed to the incorrect information in your response would’ve been more appropriate.

Having sold 2 properties now through Bush I would highly recommend. Normally I would avoid an agent when I felt the price may be a little high but Mark (who was our contact) had great current knowledge and excellent buyer contacts which enabled us to achieve one at asking price and one above asking price on our properties. I sold a buy-to-let property 2021. My solicitor was worse than useless, but Bush was extremely proactive in keeping me up to speed. Rang me at least once a week to discuss progress and kept in contact with buyer and his solicitor., chasing where necessary. Excellent service. Estate agents generally have a bad reputation, but Bush is the exception. Went the extra mile, were very helpful and polite. Phones always answered - unlike my solicitor who used an answer phone, hiding behind Covid. They did eventually call me back - but at their convenience, not mine. Would highly recommend Bush, especially with their knowledge and experience of the Mill Road area.
