We instructed our solicitor early on but had to wait nearly a month before finally receiving the information we needed from Bush to begin the process. Once our solicitor had everything, he acted promptly, while we were actively arranging the mortgage in parallel. We also reassured everyone that we would proceed with cash if the mortgage wasn’t feasible and even offered to rent the property back to the owner if the chain didn’t work. Despite all these efforts and good intentions, and with less than a month since we were finally able to start the legal work, we were told the property would be put back on the market, yet Bush still asked us to continue the legal process while they took new viewings and offers. This was both shocking and highly unprofessional. Throughout the process, I was transparent in sharing updates, but it seems Bush failed to accurately convey our efforts to the vendor, creating unnecessary tension. We acted promptly and in good faith, yet the vendor was left unaware that the delays were due to poor communication rather than us. It’s very disappointing, as all we wanted was to be treated with respect and to have our enquiries taken seriously. I understand the desire to push for progress, but the right approach is to communicate clearly and ask for what’s needed, not to threaten the buyer with withdrawal multiple times a week. Unfortunately, I don’t believe Bush handled this situation appropriately. No one came into this process with bad intentions, but unfortunately, things did not go well. We were blamed for issues that weren’t our fault, and our efforts to act swiftly and proactively were not recognised. I do appreciate the remedial efforts Andrew Bush later made; however, he also asked me to delete this review, claiming it was made up, and attempted to teach me the so-called English way of doing things, which I found deeply inappropriate.

Easily the worst estate agent I've ever had to deal with. We rented the property or tried to rent property. Apparently I had a ccj on my account which I didn't and I explained this about a hundred times. They left it to the last minute to tell us we didn't have a property which was yesterday now we have two days to try and find another property. Avoid these people at all costs as they are unprofessional and probably unregulated. These middlemen estate agents needs to be gone. Hopefully AI takes all of their jobs.

We recently sold a flat in Cambridge through Bush & Co and I wanted to show appreciation for the service of the team and Ellie in particular. They were able to secure a buyer quickly. During the process of the sale, there were some challenges with documentation and liaising with the managing agent. Throughout the entire process, Ellie proactively worked with us, our solicitor and the buyer to ensure that the sale was secure and went through. Would highly recommend Bush & Co!

We recently purchased a house marketed by Bush and Co. It was a very long, drawn out process due to solicitors and I don’t think we would have got through it without the team at Bush and Co! We saw a few properties before deciding on this one and the viewing style stood out immediately. Nobody checked their watches impatiently (like other estate agents!) and they were very knowledgeable about the property. We weren’t rushed around for the sake of it. Megan came back to do multiple viewings for us, some very lengthy because of measuring up and snagging, and was happy, enthusiastic and patient at all times. Ashley spent months chasing solicitors and paperwork to try and speed up the sale and there were points where we were messaging almost daily for updates and were always met with reassurance and kindness. The team pulled out all the stops to get us in on completion day despite very tight turnaround times and pressure from multiple solicitors and companies. If we were to ever buy or sell a house again, I would not hesitate to use Bush and Co.

I approached Bush & Co a year ago to pursue a property locally. From the offset they were very engaging and offered me tours within a few hours of the request. Fast forward a year I am living comfortably in a beautiful home organised by them. Everytime I have had a query or question about the property or contract they have kindly and swiftly got back to me. They always tell me the facts sincerely and professionally. I have loved my tenancy so much that I will be signing on for another year. I have had plenty of sour dealings with estate agents over the years, but it's safe to say that Bush & Co are a great company. All our dealings have been honourable. I would trust their judgement when it comes to selling my house, letting a property or applying for a tenancy. Vincent and Alexandra in particular have been absolute gems over the last year. You will find no one better suited to your accomodation needs than this estate agent.

After a few months living elsewhere whilst we had work undertaken, we are now in our lovely new Newmarket home. The process of finding and securing a new home was challenging, we had been gazumped twice previously and were pretty deflated about the whole process. I rarely leave Google reviews but Mark Abbot from Bush Sales really deserves the acknowledgement. He was so helpful, so honest and so utterly determined to get all parties over the line. It was a breath of fresh air compared to some of the lacklustre estate agents we had encountered with previous properties. We were told that there was no hope in us completing before the stamp duty discount deadline closed, but due to Marks commitment, energy and willingness to contact mortgage brokers, solicitors, buyers and sellers, pushing everyone on we did complete in time. Excellent service from Mark and the team. I received an offer on my property of the asking price within a few days of the board being put up and despite the frustrations of dealing with the legal bureaucracy we exchanged within three months. I was kept completely in the picture the whole time, with Mark resolving the inevitable questions and issues between both sets of solicitors and from the buyers and myself as they cropped up. I never once felt without response to my concerns and questions and I received what I regarded as sound advice. As a result I would certainly recommend Bush to other prospective vendors. They seem to know thoroughly their local market and its dynamics.

Just completed on our property sold through Bush. They were really helpful, quick and responsive from start to finish. Valuation was spot on and they took some great photos of our house, gave us good information about viewings and advice on offers. And then during the conveyancing process, Poppie our negotiator was always understanding and very patient to my chasers. Having to sell my Mum and Dad's property as my Mum passed away and my Dad going into care, this was all new to me. I had 3 separate Estate Agents come to value the property and 100% knew that Bush Sales were the company who would see the sale through. Mark Abbott explained clearly how things worked ( as I didn't have a clue!). Beth Kingsley having knowledge of the area was immensely helpful. We sold and purchased through Bush and had a really positive experience. From the start they were really efficient when putting our house on the market and we found a buyer really quickly. There were a few issues that took longer than we had hoped but Mark was fantastic and chased all the parties (even 4 sets of solicitors at one stage!) He was in contact regularly and was really reassuring especially when we were feeling the pressure of selling and buying a house in the ongoing Covid 19 situation. Mark was the only person who kept us sane throughout this process and even right up to completion he was chasing our solicitors and others to get the sale and purchase completed. He really was brilliant. Bush were recommended to me but luckily I decided to ask for valuations from two estate agents. Mark from Bush valued my property at 30k lower than the price it subsequently sold for. The reasoning for the low valuation was that properties find their own value. As I said, that may be true when the market is buoyant but I’m pretty sure that a bidding war would not have taken the price up by 30k. I do not know whether this mistake was made due to incompetence or whether there was an agenda and I was assumed to be naive. I really hope that it was not the latter. I’d advise you to be careful and not be taken in by the ‘pretending not to be pushy’ patter, which was followed up by a long emailing practically begging me to reconsider my decision to go elsewhere!

Bush Property Lettings have managed my property for a few years now. I have to say that a few years ago I wasn't that impressed with some of the team in place at all. The good news now though is that they've had a complete team overhaul and really seem to be on top of their game over the last 12 months in particular.
