Offered on a property that was rejected only for the ‘sales negotiator’ to contact us weeks later to say the seller would accept our offer. The agent then dropped the price on the property and when we offered above the asking price we were told we ‘messed them about’ and our offer would not be considered. To describe them as incompetent would be being polite.

We had our house up for sale with another local agent in Heywood whose performance was quite disappointing. We then moved to RD Heywood and within a few weeks we had a buyer which was fab. But what really made the difference was Catherine and Tom who helped smooth the inevitable bumps of the sale process, taking responsibility to contact all the links in the chain to make the sale happen including the various legal teams who had there own agenda's. We purchased a house through Ryder & Dutton's Heywood branch. Catherine was our primary contact, and she was nothing short of excellent throughout. She kept us up-to-date with everything on our purchase side and was always keen to answer any questions that we had throughout the process.On a slight tangent, in the later stages of the process, the main point of contact at our solicitors went on maternity leave. Some problems ensued, which involved lost messages between the seller's and our solicitors. Catherine was able to get to the bottom of this, highlight the cause of the delays, which helped to keep things moving along. I'm not sure we'd have completed when we did had it not been for Catherine spotting the problem!As I'd already mentioned, our primary contact was Catherine, but on occasion, we also spoke with Tom. Despite not being involved in the day-to-day detail (as it was usually Catherine), he was always helpful and knowledgeable about our purchase to be able to answer any questions that we might have had.Would highly recommend!

Would definitely recommend using Ryder & Dutton. Lacey looked after the sale of our house and was amazing from start to finish. We never had to chase her for an update as she kept us informed throughout and was on the ball with everything. There were a few hiccups (nothing to do with Ryder & Dutton) and Lacey was brilliant at sorting everything out as quickly as possible. Thank you Lacey we will definitely be asking for you if we sell again in future!

I have just purchased a house with Ryder and Dutton Heywood, and can say the help and support from all the team was amazing. They were all friendly, helpful and kept me up to date with everything and if I was worried or wasn't fully aware the team Catherine, Ewan, Fran, Jenny, Tom & Gail were there with phone calls, emails and upto date news regarding the house or sellers information. Shannon in particular was so so nice. We were told at one point the house was unsellable, and as you can imagine we stressed out like mad people.
