While you were successful in finally obtaining a sale, we were quite disappointed when meeting the new owner to find that Darlows were blaming us for the continuing delay in finalising the deal, with the excuse that we could only be contacted by post as we did not possess a mobile phone or have internet access, both of which you used when advising us of developments! Due to the untruths circulated about us, we would never use your services again or recommend you.

I can not speak highly enough of Gareth darlows est.agent. He knew his job inside out,thoroughly professional and articulate and erudite Had first class people skills was an excellent communicator. Listened to all we had to say and passed this on to the prospective buyers. So much so we sold our house at a fantastic price well over what we where asking. To sum up a very likeable professional person who must be an asset to darlows. I have recently agreed a sale on a property with another estate agent but wanted to take the time to say it was always a pleasure dealing with darlows, and more specifically dealing with Zoe Quinn who was not only very personable and professional at viewings but took the time to contact me regularly to keep up with how I was getting on etc, aswell as keeping me in mind for new properties that came along. I have recently sold my house through Darlows with the enormous help from Gareth Lewis and Olivia Roberts - the time between the property going on the market and then being sold only took about a week! I managed to get the top asking price for it as well. I've felt that throughout the process I was treated with respect, all my questions were answered (even ones I was slightly embarrassed to ask), they even helped me fill in the forms etc over the telephone. For the record I also bought my current property through Darlows 5 years ago so this is twice that I've had excellent service from them. Darlows have been absolutely amazing with me. I have currently lost a property and has been devastating, the agents who were helping me buy the old property have stopped contacting all together but Darlows staff (Zoe Quinn) have been absolutely superb. She has been in regular contact and has also been very supportive, she was even kind enough to book me in with (Sarah -Jane Ashdown) who was also superb. They have always been very professional but with a very friendly manner. I have very high hopes that we can find the property of mine and my partners dreams. Disgusting service

The worst experience I have ever had with letting agents. Communication so bad that I had a breakdown. We were made me to believe that we were being considered for a property, constantly told to expect a call back and email that we never received. We got in contact two weeks ago, told that a virtual viewing was booked in, but no confirmation and it never happened. Left in the dark the entire time while being told to wait for contact. Taking time out of our schedules to get in contact while being told to wait and that they are 'very busy' again and again Two weeks and apparently to busy to even send an email telling us to look on. I'm baffled as to how a company could be so busy that within two weeks not one email could be sent out. All we ever asked was to be informed. This entire experience was a waste of our time. After calling numerous times, we were hung up on multiple times and constantly relayed to the consiegre team (when calling directly to the branch that managed the property we were looking at) and told to wait AGAIN. It became clear that we were just being intentionally ignored. The most unprofessional and appalling service I have ever received. Cowardly service that instead of informing us just left us waiting/ignored and dismissed. From previous reviews it is clear this has been going on for a very long time. The most recent positive reviews I feel almost certain are entirely fake. Please listen to the huge amount of terrible reviews and trust that this company is not worth your time or money. I looked at these reviews a while ago and thought the good evened them out enough. This was a mistake and I wish I had disregarded this company as soon as they showed signs of their extreme incompetence. I do not wish this experience on anyone and want to warn of the extreme distress they have caused me personally. It is not an exaggeration. If this company doesn't change...... I don't see them surviving for long. I am disgusted and shocked at how bad this entire ordeal was. Please do yourself a favour and look elsewhere.

Waste of time AND MONEY!

Will not call you with updates or even when u request a call back! Communication is shocking quick enough taking the money to do absolutely nothing. Ended up doing everything my self with solicitors and baristas! Even when keys were suppose to be handed in at a certain time (court orders) they still didn’t have any communication or idea what was going on! Rung on number of occasions to see if they had the keys. Promised to give a call back when they “have information” still waiting! Absolutely shocking and a waste of time AND MONEY!
