Starting on the 17th February I contacted this company a total of FIVE times, first by e-mail, (automated reply saying they will be in touch), then by phone, (will ring me back), phone again, (will ring me back tomorrow), phone again, (remembered my name and property details, will ring me back that afternoon), finally another e-mail asking if they could confirm they were actually an estate agent? Still no reply to that one. If my experience is anything to go by, I would avoid this estate agents like the plague and find a more professional company. You have been warned.

We've sold several times before with Dafydd Hardy over the many years and we couldn't fault them. This time was a disaster. They didn't do a single viewing and left us to do the heavy lifting. They ignored requests to view from a number of people. When we discharged their services they blamed our pricing which is hilarious because their original valuation was £200k more (which we are ignored) than the current price we are selling for.

Sue Morris was the lead negotiator on both occasions and her attention to detail, regular updates and tireless dedication to getting the sale completed were first class. I would not hesitate to recommend this agency to anyone.

Booked a viewing with the Colwyn Bay office. First of all the property was described as needing “a little TLC”. When we arrived we were greeted by the agent and told to take our shoes off - no problem at all. We were shown the hall and kitchen - nice. Went to the lounge - big but lots of materials, carpet rolls and window frames lying around plus big holes in the wall all due to unfinished jobs. We were then shown the downstairs bathroom which looked nice on the brochure. Well half the ceiling was missing showing the upstairs floorboards and wires hanging down! This was not on the photo! As we were going upstairs, the agent said she would have to hurry us as she had to get to another appointment! We were then shown upstairs and it was like a building site with bare floors, tools, holes everywhere and one room we couldn’t go in due to the floor being unsafe! We had to watch where we were walking in case we stood on something sharp or splinters from the wood as we had our shoes off! The agent again said she had to hurry but we asked if we could at least see the garden as this was part of the house?! She very reluctantly lead us outside and we had a walk around as it was a good size. The agent kept tutting and had a real attitude when we asked questions. She then said she had to end the appointment to go to the next! Overall it was a very unpleasant viewing. We felt cheated as the description did not reflect the property at all and the agent was very unprofessional. Her attitude was awful and making us take our shoes off in that building site was horrendous and a H&S risk! I’m glad we didn’t take our children!

GoogleDaffydd Hardy are honestly the best Estate Agents ever and I have dealt with a lot! Nothing is too much trouble and they are very Human and understanding and efficient from start to finish. They are all lovely individually and great as a team. We have bought and sold through them and would again. I have never met such dedicated genuine Estate Agents. If you are looking for an Estate Agent that actually cares about you and your needs look no further

GoogleDafydd Hardy Caernarfon gave me excellent service beyond my expectations in the purchase of my home. Their web site was easy to navigate and they informed me promptly of any new additions to the market. Even though I was living in Canada when I bought my new house, my agent, Ffion, made the process incredibly stress and worry free. I could call or e-mail and know that in the morning or later in the day I would certainly get a reply from her. I was able to secure my new house in a matter of days and her knowledge of the housing market and the local area made the prospect of my upcoming move very easy and reassuring. Ffion arranged my solicitor, my home insurer, building contractor and even where to stay and eat in Caernarfon. I found the whole office staff to be very friendly and willing to offer additional advice and directions relay my many questions and queries. To say that I felt like part of their office staff due to their friendliness and willingness to help me goes a long way to tell of the warm welcome that I received. (Source : allAgents)
