GoogleGreat experience with Belvoir all throughout my tenancy last year! Starting with the viewing of the property, they made it possible for me to view it remotely which made the process much easier for me. There were very few incidents throughout my year at the property, but for those rare cases the Belvoir team at Bury St Edmunds were very quick to respond and provide assistance. The check-out process was seamless and I received my deposit quickly. I would definitely go with them again and recommend them to anyone looking to move to the area!

GoogleDon’t bother using these guys if you actually want to view the property. We applied 3 times over the last couple of years for the same property. All 3 times we were booked in to view only to have an email last minute saying the booking was cancelled and the property went to someone else. Although I understand properties need to be filled asap, the issue I have is that this company doesn’t offer you a fair chance of viewing the property you want.
What is the point in even giving us an appointment to view if you won’t honour your own appointments. It’s just bad business practice which leads to bad reviews like this. We will make sure we stay clear of this company in the future.

It seems it is unacceptable for a business owner to lie as well. You’re staff wouldn’t listen and kept interrupting on the phone which is extremely unprofessional and it is extremely unprofessional to lie about is swearing as well. I’m glad this experience has happened though because at least we can avoid unprofessional businesses like yourself.

Dear Chris, I’m sorry to hear about your recent experience with Belvoir. As you may be aware, the current market has created an overwhelming demand for rental properties. I understand your frustration and completely empathise given your keen interest in the property, unfortunately, our viewing slots operate on a first-come, first-served basis and once we receive proceedable applications, we are instructed to take the property off the market. For this particular property, we had to notify many others of cancelled viewing slots because of a successful application. I apologise again for your experience. However, as the Director of Belvoir, I must address that swearing and shouting at our hardworking staff is unacceptable and not an admirable trait for prospective tenants. Our team strives to ensure a positive experience for everyone, as reflected in our other reviews.

Isobel got in touch with me the same day I inquired about a house for let. She was very responsive to all my questions via email or phone and made the paperwork process very simple.
Matt was very prompt to our viewing appointment and was so patient when answering all of our questions about the house, as well as offering resources to local gardeners and window cleaners. When we had any questions for our landlord, Matt was great at getting the answer to us quickly!
The atmosphere of the office is very inviting. Isobel and one other gal (unfortunately her name slips my mind) have very warm friendly attitudes, which make the letting process less daunting.

To date their service has been excellent.
Matt initially viewed the property, he was very complimentary but also came back with a few items that needed addressing prior to letting. This to me showed an attention to detail that other agents hadn’t considered.
They found me a tenant very quickly and kept me informed all the way through the process.
The only improvement I might suggest would be a better hand over to the tenant maybe showing them around the property so they are aware of items like gas / electric meters / boiler controls.
