We had SDL as a mortgage survey service. Surveyor was very rude and abrupt. Booked for a 2hour visit (so took time off work to accommodate) and he was gone in less than 10minutes. Valuation was about £100k off the mark which was clearly driven by the lack of attention to detail. He just couldn’t be bothered to put any effort into it and was probably paid handsomely for doing very little. If I’d have paid for this service directly then payment would have been refused. Terrible !!

Elliot made what can be a stressful process feel really straightforward. He was always one step ahead, keeping us informed and making sure nothing slipped through the cracks. Whenever we had a query, we never had to wait long for a response, he was always available and happy to help. During the viewing he was brilliant , no pressure at all, he let us take our time, have a proper look around, and ask as many questions as we needed without ever feeling rushed. He came across as genuinely invested in helping us find the right place rather than just going through the motions. Friendly, knowledgeable, and easy to deal with from day one. If you’re looking for an estate agent who actually goes the extra mile, Elliot is someone we’d recommend without a second thought 👍🏼
