Laura provided many negative opinions as to why she thought a Sheringham property was unsuitable for me, none of which were based on fact. Eventually agreed to check the facts. By which time I was so irritated by her manner, I gave up on the property. One question, apparently designed to dissuade me viewing was: "Do I mind having neighbours?" I suppose one answer to that would be....

GoogleFantastic support from Karen and the rest of the Sowerbys team. After viewing a few properties that were on the market, she worked out what we were really looking for and got us the first viewing on a perfect property. Everything else has gone like clockwork with introductions to great advisors and we have exchanged contracts just 8 weeks after our first viewing.

GoogleThey say moving home can be one of the most stressful experiences you can have...we were super lucky in this move being one of the most stress free! From the great video that we first viewed our new home on to our exchange today we have been so impressed with Sowerbys. We were fortunate enough to deal with Karen from start to finish and what a star she is...super efficient and responsive but more importantly really friendly and helpful, you can tell she loves her job. What a fantastic asset she is to Sowerbys and what a great service you all provide. We would't hesitate in recommending that you contact Karen whether you are buying or selling in the area....it could save your sanity during the moving process. Asked to come and value my property came with a brochure of house pre extension and a valuation before they had viewed the house. They must have psychic valuers. Beats me how you can value a property prior to seeing it

GoogleAs a development company we have been dealing with Sowerby's regarding the sale of our Development, Quavers in Thornham. I have been very impressed with them. I like their approach to sales with clear guidelines given from the outset with timescales which help manage expectations. I don't like flattery as it leads to bad decision making or at best false expectations and so it was refreshing to find an estate agent that was transparent about likely sales values. However this doesn't mean they wont work for better results if they can be achieved. Very personal dealings with Harry, Spencer and Karen whom ive found to be more than helpful in the journey. TrustpilotMisrepresentation at its worst
We were advised by one of their negotiators to view a house which was 200 miles + from where we live on the understanding that it had architectural merit and charm. At no point during our two phone conversations did the Sowerbys representative mention the words “might benefit from some updating” when the actual sad truth was that the house needed 200k spending on it with, potentially, no positive results at the end of the renovation. I know that estate agents tend to see every property through rose tinted glasses but in this case they would have needed to convince Stevie Wonder that the property had any potential. They are refusing the refund us the cost of our trip as they feel “clients who saw the house had a positive experience”. This statement does not seem to gel with the fact the house has now been on the market three times in the last four years and has still failed to sell. Sow’s ear and silk purse come to mind.

GoogleWe recently bought a second home in lovely North Norfolk and Amy from Sowerby’s has been a real help, going over and above to answer any questions and put our minds at ease given we weren’t around to check on progress.
