A+ Letting agent, Recently moved to Buckingham and had not used Open Doors previously as a tenant. However I must say that I could not of been more impressed. Very professional, personal approach to both viewings /admin (the essential paperwork) and the ever hectic move process.. Always quick to respond to any question or query and very happy to offer information or recommendations about services in the local area. I would definitely recommend to any other tenant looking to find a reputable reliable agent to use in future.

Professional and trustworthy

As a small scale landlord, I rely on Open Doors to find tenants and credit reference them for me. I have found Rachael to be incredibly helpful and hardworking, particularly when a property seemed stuck, with plenty of viewings but no suitable candidates. Her advice was always good and her responses to emails prompt and informative. When the right tenants came along, Rachael put in extra work to get them into the house quickly, to help them out. I would certainly strongly recommend Open Doors, they are professional and easy to talk to.

She took a great lengths to help me when my property was thrown into turmoil by tenants(not just once). Returning to the UK after living abroad for a number of years I needed to identify a suitable property to rent in the Buckingham area. I had a number of special criteria so upon commencing my search for a property I contacted all the local agents with the following information:- "I am a British citizen who has lived abroad for 15 years. I will be returning to the UK in mid April with my two dog's one small & one mid sized. Due to my residency outside the UK I can not conform to the usual reference criteria now required to rent property or qualify for a mortgage. I must integrate myself back into UK life, in order to do that I have to establish a credit and financial history. I appreciate I may have to pay a greater rental period in advance to address this lack of reference, and am prepared to accommodate this. I require a minimum rental period of one year with options to extend. I have a son resident in Buckingham who can act as my authorised agent". A number of local agents did not acknowledge or respond. Those that did added me to their automated list which filled my inbox with property's that were beyond my stated budget, completely unsuitable for my needs and finally clearly stated no pets. One well known so called prestigious agency who I telephoned was dismissive and frankly rude. Open Doors were outstanding from the first they responded to me as an individual with a specific requirement. A client who whilst being a challenge they were committed to helping find the right property. Once we had identified a property they worked with my son and the landlords to establish understanding and to negotiate a contract that addressed the needs of all the parties. During this process of searching and viewing property's the service generally of the other local agents was in the main one of indifference. Open Doors were excellent in every respect, all emails despite a four hour time difference were actioned promptly. Telephone contact was efficient, friendly and great care was taken to fully explain all my various options. Also unique to Open Doors was the commitment of all who work there. I dealt primarily with Laura & Jane this sense of being able to talk with all within the company and make progress is a valuable benefit when calling from a distance. A very positive successful experience at what is a stressful time, I believe they are outstanding when considered alongside other agents operating in the area. In my experience they have no local rivals in customer service and professional standards.

Having had terrible experiences with another letting agency, I was relieved and delighted to find that I could rely on Open Doors to deal with me honestly and efficiently. I let two houses through them and have always found them to be helpful and straightforward. Residential property letting tends to be more complex than one might expect, but Open Doors is good at giving advice, knows the property market and checks tenants thoroughly.
