GoogleBoth my partner and I had the delight in meeting Libby over the weekend for a property viewing and were extremely impressed with how polite and informative we found Libby to be. We had put forward an offer and hoped to begin the process however another higher prioritised property became available so we did not proceed. Libby was very accommodating and her level of customer service, even at the point we had pulled out, was next to none. Highly recommended!

GoogleI lived in a flat with no blinds for 6 months that faced a busy street leaving me with no privacy. I was made to pay £75 for a “top up clean” when I moved out of my property, which I had cleaned top to bottom. In response to your reply David, six months without blinds is not acceptable. You and your team are property management meaning the property is your responsibility, if you do truly care then why was I passive aggressively emailed by Nicky for over a week when I was trying to resolve the issue without having to take it to a public platform.
Thanks for your review Izzy, I am sorry that you feel unhappy with the cleaning charge (£75 charge). Given that this was the only deduction on your deposit and the landlord waived some other removal charges and a replacement mattress protector charge, I do feel the landlord was reasonable asking for this small cleaning invoice to be covered. Its important to remember that Open Doors are not the property owners / landlord. The deposit deduction is not a fee, the £75 will go to the landlord to re-inburse the cleaning invoice they will have received. Regarding the blinds , your new windows were fitted in June, we were under the impression the landlords contractor had put the blinds back up following your email to advise they were down. We remained unaware that this job hadn't been completed until you emailed in August and requested flexibility to your tenancy end to account for the blinds not being installed, which was agreed by the landlord in goodwill. I do apologise that the follow up on this was missed, we should have chased the contractor to ensure the job was completed, but as we hadn't heard from you we assumed all was well. Open Doors is a small independent lettings agency with a team who really care about what they do. Any negative feedback is taken seriously and will be internally reviewed to see what can be learnt to continuously improve. Obviously you felt so strongly wronged that you have not only left a review yourself but asked friends and family to also leave one star reviews for Open Doors. I feel is unfair given the nature of your complaint and this is upsetting for our team. Kind regards David (Director)

GoogleI am absolutely appalled by the display of open doors what started off a nice house viewing turned into a living nightmare. The property in question was advertised to have council tax included in rent but 3 days before we move in (at the end of the working day) we were told different so the next day I get a call after sending a email explaining how unhappy I was with this only to be told it DIDNT NEED TO BE HONOURED and was argued with by a member of staff who then called me 20 minutes later to tell me the landlord has decided to withdraw their application as they no longer wanted to rent the property ( at this point 2 days before moving in). This was the part where we were told there was a smaller flat further away from where we were going to move to we could move into. 3 days later the property is back on the market suprise suprise. I would not recommend this company as I have seen the way they operate and would warn anyone who looks to use their services to think twice. If I could give zero stars I definitely would after this whole ordeal I tried to contact them to question why the house we were supposed to move into was suddenly back up for rent as we were still interested but we just got ignored I hope the boss sees this review and learns how his staff operate with argumentative and condescending attitude.

This is my first time going into the property renting world and Kirsty has been brilliant every step of the way. From the first day I moved into the rented property, Kirsty has helped answer any and all questions or queries I have no matter how minor the query. I recently asked Kirsty if she could contact the landlord to put up batons and curtain poles to make the house more homely. Kirsty responded promptly and arranged everything down to a T. When I had a problem with the washing machine Kirsty worked swiftly to arrange for a engineer to come out to fix the problem Overall, I have found Kirsty to be friendly, professional and excels in her role as a property manager. If I was to recommend a property manager to anyone moving to Milton Keynes I would not struggle in my first choice; Kirsty Eke. A true credit to Open Doors.

GoogleWe have been with open doors for a few years now and put in a request recently for a bigger house, we wanted to stay with them as we have never had any problems with them, and they have tendered to our every need. Only last week we had a call to view a property, after which we decided it was perfect for us as we had outgrown our present house, after a few financial discussions Laura and Jane made sure we got the house and we now move in a couple of weeks, I would just like to say we have been with a few letting agents in the past and couldn't wait to be rid of them, but I must highly recommend open doors of Buckingham, they are fast and efficient and very professional and most of all they listen to what you want we are very grateful to them and thank them very much for helping us so quickly, we also intend to stay with them for many years to come. 5 stars all the way.

GoogleOpen Doors have managed my property for 14 years and Nicky and Lizzie have both been fantastic throughout that period. They are polite, courteous and professional, proactively making me aware of any issues and providing regular updates until resolution. They have a collaborative approach, making suggestions and recommendations based on their knowledge of the market, local tradespeople etc. Based on my regular interactions with them both, I would highly recommend Open Doors to anyone renting their property in the Buckingham area.

GoogleI had a wonderful experience with Open Doors. They are lovely, friendly ladies who truly care about you and want the best outcome for you. When we were going through the checks for a new house we hit a couple of road blocks, but Lizzie from Open Doors was really patient and efficient. She came back to us quickly with solutions to the problems and we managed to navigate our way through the entire process with her help and guidance. I will definitely be staying with them as they are so practical and nice. Great job ladies!!!
