GoogleLizzie at Open Doors is wonderful. She is very professional, efficient and thorough. I have used Open Doors for many years and much prefer dealing with a small lettings focussed business like theirs than a big estate agency - you get better service, Paperwork is always correct. Fees are reasonable. Would highly recommend.

GoogleThis is the best estate agency in Buckingham. My wife and daughter and I came from Ukraine and it was very difficult for us to rent accommodation because only the landlord decides whom he wants to rent his accommodation. But Open Doors contributed to this in every way. Lizzie Brand was always on hand to view the best homes for a young family and she helped find and rent the best house in Buckingham in a great area! Thank you Open Doors!

GoogleI came to the Buckingham for the first time to stay a year as a Visiting Lecturer at the Vinson Centre in November 2022. After going to a number of real state agencies to no avail, Nicky and Lizzie at Open Doors treat me kindly and helped me move in to a good and affordable place in town. Any problems, they are always ready to help with an efficient and quick solution. I highly recommend Open Doors to whoever is coming to Buckingham from abroad for the first time to study and may feel overwhelmed by the difficulties to rent a house or a flat near the University. In all aspects their service was excellent unlike most other agencies in that are in my experience. GooglePlease avoid this lettings company. Lizzie from the lettings company was truly lovely and helped us find our home, was prompt with her emails and found us a home we truly loved. HOWEVER, things started to progressively get worse as we moved in… we had an issue where both of our toilets were broken and I was told to “sh** in a bucket” from staff at open doors which I found extremely rude and degrading. We left our tenancy early due to financial reasons and was told by staff “how can you say you can’t pay for the property when you’re getting married”.. I found this extremely personal and realised they must only know about my engagement through my own social media.. I just couldn’t believe it! My private life had nothing to do with them! Nearly a year on and we’ve never received a check out document and our deposit back! (Understand that we probably wouldn’t get a deposit but never received a breakdown to why we wouldn’t get our deposit back)! It’s a legal requirement to receive a checkout email from the lettings agents and we NEVER received anything of the sort… I was completely outraged just by their lack of professionalism and just basic human understanding! Please avoid, it will save you so much anxiety and worry.
Natasha, Your tenancy ended 7 months ago, the tenancy ended with arrears on the account and quite a bit of redecoration needed. The deductions from the deposit were communicated with you at the time. Your recollection of the issue with the toilets I'm afraid is incorrect, the issue was reported and resolved within 24 hours and I am certain no one at Open Doors would have spoken to you or used the language you have suggested. Kirsty is my main contact within Open Doors and I am particularly impressed by her friendly, helpful attitude, prompt responses to any queries that I may have, and her professionalism.
