We’ve been trying to get our deposit back for the rented property we are in for 2 weeks now, was told it would be last Friday but they were holding the wrong bank details. This weeks excuse is that it’s being held by head office & they are chasing it up 😒. Funny how they can take your deposit immediately however they can’t give it back! This is the Lichfield branch.

Absolute shower of excrement company. If you are looking at renting, avoid them if they are the management company.If you are a Landlord, do not let these people manage your property. We reported water coming through the kitchen ceiling 2 years ago, they still haven't fixed the problem. Excrement show of a company. Tenants and Landlords be careful.

LOUGHBOROUGH I rented a property from newton fellowell in kegworth. I moved out on the 6th of December 2022 its now the 15th feb 2023 and still have not recieved any part of my deposit back. No explanation from the agency. I have contacted them numerous times to which they keep making excuses. It is coming up to three months now. The property was let out pretty much straight after we left (within a week). When we gave our notice of a month we were CONSTANTLY bombarded to allow viewings, I understand this is in the contract which was fine, however my mother was in hospital at the time and I had a dog at home which is a nervous dog. This was never taken into consideration either. Plus many repairs reported through the time of living at the address and these were never addressed. I've heard the new tenant is having exactly the same problems regarding repairs. If they are receiving money or agreeing a let they are brilliant, however not so much on carrying out maintenance or returning deposits

Be aware at end of tenancy they change the Agreement to withhold your deposit you have to dispute every penny as they are happy to make up a clause to help the landlord. Your tenancy Agreement is law not any extras they add at the end. Avoid if possible

GoogleWill gladly rip you off saying houses are worth £10,000+ more than they're worth and make up fake bids from others to push your offers up, they aren't in the office when I ring (surprise surprise) and never ring back and only offer 15 minute viewings because they're "always busy", so it's really bad customer service considering you want to potentially buy a house.
Hello Mr Harris, I would like to get some more details about your experience with us as it appears your review is not quite the case, I would be interested to know if you have a different version so i can get to the bottom of this. I believe a mortgage surveyor has valued the current property you are still purchasing at a lower figure than what you originally offered and this has been renegotiated at the lower price in order for you to proceed with. I can assure you all offers are recorded and under no means are they fabricated. We do follow all laws and regulations and what you have suggested would be against the code of practice 9b and 9c. When you called yesterday my colleague Lisa was currently on to your partner and i believe she called and left you a message to call back, again please notify me if this weren't the case and i will look into it.

We had our home up for sale for over 16 weeks with what I can only describe as a total waste of time estate agent. They have no idea of customer needs they think they can sit on their arses waiting for an enquiry. It is 16 weeks wasted with wasters and to top it all we have not even been contacted about leaving their services and just removed from right move.What an absolutely poor company

I didn’t even want to give them 1 star but had to choose something, these estate agents love lying and you get a different story each person you speak to. Since giving them notice back in December they have decided since then to leave their sign on the drive. I have been calling them multiple times to collect and they have even lied about this! They cannot seem to organise themselves! Customer service is awful.

If I knew what I know now I would definitely have not used this useless, hopeless and dishonest agent for sure. I am referring to Newark branch. Home owners, clear away from this agent at all costs as all they want is to do minimum work and get as much as they can of you. When signing the sole agent agreement they agree it's a no completion no fee contract however, it turns out you have to pay them £300 to withdraw your property if they don't sell your property. They just simply put down tie in period as 16 weeks without informing you. You would only realise all the cheats they have played afterwards. They are simply waste of money and time! I cannot wait to go with a different agent at the end of the con sole agent contract. Avoid!
