I used Goodchilds to sell my late mother’s bungalow and they were absolutely excellent right through the entire process. Selling the family home following bereavement was very emotional for me, but the Goodchilds team were so supportive - from Anisa doing the valuation, to Lauren supervising the viewings, and then sales negotiator Angel who managed the sale process from start to finish. Angel was amazing - keeping me informed throughout and always proactive in chasing updates from the buyer and from solicitors when needed. Excellent communication all round, for which I am so grateful. I wholeheartedly recommend Goodchilds.

There were a few hiccups in the chain (not their fault) and Angel was always helpful and gave me advice, even on my sale which was not through them. I have just purchased my first home that was being sold by goodchilds. I was shown around two different houses by Ellie who was really helpful and supportive. I put an offer in on the second house and found out a few days later that my offer was accepted. Anisa, Lauren, Kerry and all the other staff have regularly been updating me and advising me on what to do and what will happen next. Whenever I have had any questions the team get straight back to me and I could not have asked for a better team to support me on my first property. It took about 9 weeks from making the offer to getting the keys. Thanks Anisa and the team

This Estate agents is the worst around

This Estate agents is the worst around. We had been going through a purchase of property that took 10 months to never complete. One issue after another and the service from Amy and Oliver wasn’t good. Oliver couldn’t keep track of the lies he was telling from day one saying he had spoken directly to the seller’s solicitors and he never did. Saying he had “ contacts to contact people about a one going issue with the property we trying to purchase”to then suddenly he had no idea what we was on about.

Unprofessional today had 6 emails confirming time 12pm had a phone call to say 15 minutes late then another phone call to say 12.45pm as the key's was at the other office and as this was Friday afternoon they were stuck in traffic. The service I received from Anisa and her team was fabulous. I have been using Goodchilds as my managing agents for leasing my house for a number of years. For the last few years, I have been working with Rebecca E at the Brownhills office. She has been wonderful. Always helpful in anyway she can be. A great communicator who responds quickly and does what she says she will do! It is so nice to work with someone who is reliable and you know is trying to do the right thing for you! She is also proactive in taking care of things, removing a lot of the worry of being a landlord. Thank you. It has been a pleasure dealing with you! More recently I made the decision to sell. I have been working with Kerry at the Brownhills office. She too has been a good communicator and has worked hard to make the sales process as stress free as possible. I found her to be very knowledgeable about the market. She was honest in her evaluation of the property and was upfront about some of the hurdles that she anticipated we might face. I believe she got us an excellent price for our house and was able to get us a buyer with minimal disruption to our tenants. When Kerry was not available, I have found the other staff at the office willing to go out of their way to help in any way they can. It has not always been the case that I have had good service from Goodchilds. 7 or 8 years ago I would have been giving a very different review. But a company is only as good as it's people and the people that I dealt with then are long gone. I would like to congratulate Anisa on turning things around and gathering and managing a great team at Brownhills! Thank you to all of you!

I spent several weeks trying to find my perfect first home, and after countless of viewings that fell short of my standard I was a little frustrated. Jackie of Goodchilds took the time to ask and listen to my idea of home, and within a day or two she called me up to say a house has just come onto the market and it has ticked every boxes for me. After viewing the house, I can confirm it was the house I was looking for; I was so ecstatic! Both Jackie and Anisa have worked very hard to make this happen and I am forever grateful to them. Especially Anisa who sometimes worked till late in evenings reassuring that she will try her best to show the seller how keen and motivated I was in buying the house.
