Communication was a little poor. Which I think ultimately lead to the deal falling through. After waiting 6 weeks I was updated with news that confirmed we were really no further along. Their mortgage adviser Craig W was good to begin with. After I paid him £500 and the initial deal fell through, I went for a different property and Craig asked me for a further £150 upfront. But I was given advice not to do this. He then agreed to "wave" the fee but was so busy all of a sudden and things were so slow I applied for the new mortgage myself and did it all on my own direct with the lender. Also he gave me advice that the lender wouldn't be able to lend me the money I asked for and I'd have to increase the deposit by a further £2000. when infact they have leant it me and I didn't need any extra deposit. so that was bad. I'd encourage people to go through companies like L&C or apply direct with the lender. no fees or miss communications that way.

I've been really very impressed by the help that Paul Bennett has given me during the really difficult time of selling my mum's house for her .He s a very good communicator . His manner is competent & confident but not at all overbearing . He makes the process manageable. I feel he's really genuinely doing his best to move things along. I had a lot of confidence in his experience & advise when the house was first on the market. He's really good at chasing things up and keeping the avenues of communication open when they seem to be a bit sluggish. I think he's done an excellent job and I couldn't have asked for a better hand on the tiller

I am due to complete on the sale of my late mother's flat in the near future. All of the staff at Your Move, Bromsgrove have been particularly helpful but Paul and Jo have stood out as being very thorough, polite and honest in the routines for the sale whenever I have spoken to them. They have both worked tirelessly for me and have managed to get the long overdue sale of my flat. Thanks Jo, you have always listened to me on the phone and always give sound advise and always been so incredibly helpful.Paul, the lengths that you have gone to secure the deal have been amazing, thank you.
