Over 10 years of great management and professionalism from Property World, Sydenham. I certainly recommend them. Repairs and safety obligations were taken seriously and efficiently handled. I really felt taken care of as a long term private renter.

GoogleI have been a client of Propertyworld Penge for eight years. Being a family business, they give their clients more personalised service than the corporate agencies. They have found me very good tenants and managed the property well, making sure it stays in a good condition, while at the same time securing the market rent. I would particularly commend my agent Jane Weremuick in this regard.

GoogleHorrifying. I was a tenant for 6 years and they left our property to rot ignoring structural issues for 14+ months. During the 14+ month ignoring period they upped our rent by £300pcm with 1 months notice with no mention of fixing the damaged caused by leaks and subsidence. Avoid at all costs!!

Dear Leila I’m sorry to receive your post and that of your partner Fleur. I have replied at length to Fleur so wont repeat everything contained in my response to Fleur. However, the suggestion we left the property to rot is a misrepresentation of the position. The fact you lived in the flat for 6 years is noteworthy, together with the fact you wanted to stay. You left largely because as Fleur said it was a question of “affordability”. Furthermore, over the course of 6 years the rent was increased only once and by just £50. We renegotiated a reduced increase of £150 pcm with the landlord after you rejected the initial proposal, but you chose not to renew. The initial conversation about the rent increase and new tenancy was in October 2024. You left the property on the 21st March 2025, having paid the same rent al figure you had paid since December 2022. That said, I am sorry you are unhappy with how we managed things. Both you and Fleur were great tenants and I wish you both the best of luck for the future. Kind regards Richard Crowley Director

Absolutely terrible agency ever. They never come back to you, no answer at all on emails. The responsible person is never there either working from home, or is not in the office, or is off sick but never there. It takes ages to book a viewing and this is if you constantly chase them up and then if you decide to rent no answer from anyone. In fact after sending all document as requested by agent from viewing (bank statements, payslips) at least someone should get back to me even if is a negative answer. This is totally unprofessional.

GoogleProperty World, Penge are fabulous! We bought our 1st home and then sold it 5 yrs later dealing with Jason who is just great! Not going to lie, my past experience of estate agents (not from PW!) hasn't always been great but we always felt Jason was honest and not just giving us a pitch. We also worked with Sharon during the sale who was also great and worked hard to get it through quickly. Thoroughly recommend Property World for buying and selling.

The service was great and the staff were very friendly, they couldn’t have been more helpful during the referencing process. Natalia was also very kind and willing to do a virtual tour as I was unable to attend an in person viewing. GoogleAwful experience. I had booked a viewing of a flat and they cancelled half an hour before it should happen saying that they will call to rearrange. They never called again and the offer disappeared from the website. I'm actually glad that I won't rent from them if they treat customers this way. I definitely agree with the negative reviews.

Dear Aga, I’m sorry you feel this way and felt the need to write a review so long after the cancelled viewing, which is, as far as I can see is the issue at hand. On the day in question, you did have a viewing booked but just before you were due to view, we were unable to get access to the flat and told you immediately. We can’t legislate for such things as they are entirely out of our control. Trust me , when I say, we would have preferred to have carried out the viewings. Our plan was to re-book the viewing but again we were informed the landlord no longer required our services so the property was removed. In an ideal world, we would call the hundreds of people we deal with daily to give them updates on our property list, ask about their search, check in as such, but it simply isn’t possible. GoogleHaving tried selling my flat for many years with different estate agents I found Dan and Jason refreshingly different. Where other agents escorted viewers around Jason really sold the property to viewers highlighting the good points of the property and suggesting possible solutions to the not so bits. I felt confident that this time the property would sell and it did. Dan was the voice of reason was there to calm the waters when everything seemed like it was up in the air. He not only helped with the sale but offered advice on the purchase which was great for me. GoogleDan and Jason were in charge of selling our property in Penge. We considered using an online agent but thought that having someone with real local knowledge would help to sell our property, and I have to say we were really chuffed with the service. We accepted an offer after the first weekend of viewings which was kudos to them for organising and liaising with potential buyers quickly and efficiently. From then on there was lots of negotiating with the buyer and solicitors etc but Dan really worked hard and kept both myself and the buyer calm and clear with excellent communication throughout the process. He put my faith back into using estate agents and would happily recommend PropertyWorld.
