GoogleOur personal experience of property world was indirect. Our purchaser was selling through them. My experience and that of others in the chain was poor and others in the industry cited it as “dreadful’. We were ALL spoken to rudely, when spoken to at all, and there was very little empathy, professionalism or effort. The main focus was on us all listening to their circumstances. I was told several times that they didn’t have to deal with things and I shouldn’t get involved! I really wouldn’t have wanted to get involved but had little choice given that their focus was not on customer service, selling houses or being truly helpful. Eventually it was resolved but again only after personal intervention. In short there are many other better local estate agents out there. Avoid!NegativeProfessionalism

GoogleBrilliant when we moved in, but now that we've been priced out of our flat by a rent increase, Propertyworld are charging us for 'damage' to the flat that never existed, and were unprofessional about arranging viewings while we still lived at the property. So frustrating and disappointing.

I believe you are the woman I spoke to earlier in the week who accused us of racism because we told you the house you wanted to view had been let. I can only reiterate what I tried to tell you then, which is …….when you called Monday the house had already been viewed by multiple people, when you called back, we had received two offers from people who had viewed on Saturday and our landlord had accepted one of these offers. Your failure to view the house was simply a question of timing and nothing more. The accusation of discrimination is entirely wrong, profoundly unfair and insulting to me, my brother (who’s wife is African) the business I run and my mixed gender, multi racial and mixed nationality team of employees. I am appalled you would think this and upset you have chosen to leave this review and orchestrate the other review I believe you are responsible for.

Called to book a valuation. Had to call twice as no one bothers to call you back. Once appointment confirmed, Sales person turns up and No face mask worn on valuation, did not fully enter the property, was sullen and unprofessional.
Said they would send their underestimated value by email, needless to say they did not. They were + 10% lower than 4 other agents!

GoogleI used PropertyWorld for the sale of my flat in Sydenham and to purchase a new terraced house in Dulwich. Dan and Jason managed to find a buyer within the first weeks even during Brexit period which I would immagine is a bit harder. They also did a fantastic job in managing negotiations with both buyer and seller. I kept constant communication with both agents who were always present and genuinely interested at all time as well as friendly and polite. I used other estate agents (high street) in the past and i can say that PropertyWorld service was much better.

GoogleKevin found a buyer for our flat within a week, and then when the buyers changed their mind months later, he found another buyer within a week again! We really appreciated Kevin and Dan's expert and honest advice through some ups and downs we had during the process. We were also touched to get a very enthusiastic congratulatory call from them on the day of exchange. It was great to deal with a smaller agency and we were impressed with how friendly and helpful staff were any time we called. Would recommend Property World to anyone. Sharon did sterling work as the progressor trying to get the chain moving along (and acting as unpaid counsellor at times!) You really do get what you pay for. Special mention should also go to the photographer who took the most beautiful shots of our place and almost made us not want to sell after all!

GoogleDodgy practise. Moved in a year ago and noticed issues such as electrical sockets not working, no hot water and no heating. Electrician visits and says no electrical checks were carried out beforehand.. plugs still not working after notifying several times. 1 year in and still no hot water at the property despite notifying several times. Heating does get fixed but after about 2 weeks into the beast from the east and me having to chase constantly. Why the landlord bothers to pay for fully managed is beyond me as we do all the work and they don't even provide basic safety like electrical checks or smoke detectors. Now the tenancy is due but of course it takes me to remind them of that fact a week after the renewal date, they contact me a week later saying it's ready to sign and they put the price up without notifying me of the increase.. I suppose they just hope that people won't notice and sign anyway. Needless to say, big TPO complaint on the way.. Avoid if possible

GoogleI am surprised that Property World has received bad reviews. Property World is a well run family business, Richard and Dan Crowley are really good guys to deal with, very professional, dedicated, to offering excellent customer service which a lot of agents can only dream of. As a landlord, Property World have been managing my property since October 2014 and in that time I have received fantastic service. I would also like to mention a member of the team Dina Williams, she first introduced herself as our new property manager in May 2015, we have always found her to be extremely professional and helpful even offering us help and advise when it came to the complete refurbishment of our flat which was turned around in 2 months including the letting process and finding new tenants. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Property World to friends and family.

Incompetent, refused to accept or correct mistakes. Rude and extremely unprofessional. Insulted me personally. I had to start legal proceedings against them before they would refund the money they had cost me. Additionally, refused to let me see a copy of the tenancy agreement they were issuing to the tenant so the mistake in the rental amount was not picked up until it was too late. Lied to the tenant and lied to me. I haven't really experienced problems with letting agents before this but these guys were unbelievable. Now use an online letting agent for my properties and couldn't be happier. Sorry to all you other High Street letting agents who do a good job but these guys have put me off for ever.
