We had put our house on the market in October 2022 with another estate agent who did just one viewing in 5 months. In late February this year we changed to JDM - what a difference. We had regular viewings most weeks and in early May we got the offer we wanted and we exchanged today! There were a few frustrations along the way, (all to do with the Buyers solicitor), but Kelly and the team remained professional and kept us calm, nudged the solicitors, liaised with the buyers and despite another stressful hiccup this morning, got everyone over the line. An absolutely first class service from start to finish - we can't thank them enough.

Fantastic service, above and beyond!

My daughter and niece had to arrange moving into a new flat very quickly, and did so via the Greenwich office of JDM. The whole process took less than a week, and whilst there was as always a lot of paperwork to complete, whenever we had a question or an issue Pat was an absolute superstar and helped every step of the way - often responding to emails well outside of office hours as she knew about the tight timelines. Pat, you were brilliant! Mark was also very helpful and responsive when it came to references etc. I honestly cannot fault the service the team provided - thank you very much indeed.

If you are selling, use Kelly...if you are buying from these ask to work with Kelly. I had to push through my sale quickly as the market was going into turmoil and she commuicated effectively between me and the seller and we completed within a few weeks. Not every agent is willing to do this and even the days leading up to completion, she managed to liase with all the lawyers (throughout the chain) despite their reluctance. She was available when it mattered which is what you need with a house process. It is also clear that JDM are respected by lawyers as they answer their calls which is important. In addition, she even helped to try and find a suitable removal company for me which not many agents do...great service. Thank you! Also, I came in with a good offer for the property 3 days after it listed. Rather than a painful back and forth with the seller and other potential buyers, we sorted out the price in 1 day and the house was quickly taken off the market. In other processes, estate agents have strung me along just to uncessarily push up the price - this didn't happen here and I am very appreciative. I had been looking for about a month so I was very aware of the tactics of other agents. I will certainly use JDM and hopefully Kelly is there on my next purchase! Sarah was also great too as she helped pass messages, chase brokers and lawyers on when the process was at its initial stages.

For the vast majority of our purchase we were fortunate enough to deal with Kelly. JDM managed the sale of the apartment my parents recently acquired. As buyers we could not have asked for a better service. Polite and helpful to deal with they allowed us several viewings both prior and post offer to help facilitate the decision and the move. They were both honest and open with their communication - especially when those inevitable delays occurred. My parents are in their 80's so were finding the whole experience quite stressful but Sarah, Nicola and the team honestly couldn't have done more to make the experience as painless as possible for them. My wife and I recently sold our property through JDM and are extremely satisfied customers. We are truly grateful to Sarah, Kelly, Lizzy, Nicola, Charlene, Richard and the rest of the team for all their hard work and expertise at every step, from valuation through to exchange and completion. Despite a very challenging market and what other agents thought was a high asking price, we quickly got an offer above it. Our conveyancing process was unfortunately quite stressful, due mainly to our buyer's truly incompetent solicitors. How unlucky you are if you come across JDM

I have been a renter through JDM for almost 6 years. Unprofessional staff, unprofessional approach. My landlord has been convinced to sell her house around 1M and after 8 months it has been priced 600k through other agency. Obviously, they misdirected her and because of them I had to move out, found higher rent etc. The most disappointing moment was when they requested one day extra rent while moving out, even my landlord laughed and rejected it. The best way in the world to find a dentist and estate agent!

Suppose you wanted to find the best dentist in Eltham. You’d ask friends, neighbours and family and if one name came up more than, say, 2/3 times choosing would be a piece of cake. Same holds true if you’re looking for a home. So when our family said Kelly over at JDM did an amazing job for us we rang up, chatted and watched a Rolls spring into action on our behalf. Like dentistry, house hunting can be gut-wrenching but at no time did we not feel like we were the most important clients in Eltham.

Gave up on this agent after 6 weeks

We decided to try JDM as they have been around for years, what a mistake. The only time we spoke to anyone was at valuation and in first 6 weeks, contact was by email only when I had to ask them to write more than one line about the property on the Rightmove main listing. I wrote it myself in the end. The photos were not special and having uploaded my text they changed the photo 'by mistake' to the most awful one of a winter back garden instead of the front of the house which is one of its good selling points. I had to ask for this to be changed. No viewings in 6 weeks but not surprised. I asked for a better description on the actual Rightmove listing and they did eventually do this but by now and 6 weeks in, we gave up and gave notice to cancel. No email acknowledgements from the Bromley Office or the HQ in Locksbottom who I also emailed. So had 6 weeks left to go on the contract but no chance of a sale. Avoid if possible.

Steven May has been an absolute star from start to finish in the process of selling our home, ensuring that the chain did not fall apart by liaising with solicitors, and other agents acting for other parties in the chain to keep everyone on track. He resolved issues and has a vast knowledge of the process, so was able to deal with matters quickly to an amicable solution.
