Terrible service. Very disappointed. I found a short let property on their portal myself, the agent (Amir Abbasian) kept suggesting either awful properties, or ones over my budget. They were very quick to call back and close the deal but once the deal was made, I never once was able to speak directly to my agent Olivia Taylor, or anyone from Foxtons again. Repeated messages and email queries went unanswered. Every two weeks a new person would be in touch and all my queries would be ignored. The property was nice and in good condition but i paid Foxtons 350 pounds for the end of tenancy clean, and was slapped with a 600 pound cleaning claim on my deposit. The property was never cleaned and my landlord claimed the charges from my deposit. at least a dozen emails later, I still don't have a protection document number for my deposit. I was told my deposit was protected. I ws told I would be provided an inventory upon moving in. I was told the place would be cleaned at the end of my tenancy, for which i paid. None of the above happened. Still waiting for part of my deposit to be returned, even though they said it was transferred three weeks ago and should take 5 to 7 days to be credited. I've settled the dispute with my landlord now, even though it is extortion, but it seems even he was being cheated by Foxtons.

GoogleWe have recently rented a property through Foxtons and it was the most pleasant easy move I’ve experienced. Molly Pett was incredible and supportive from the beginning til end, she replied to every email and message and ensured we were satisfied with all documents and the process. My son is disabled and we needed access to the house quite a few times prior to the move and Molly was happy to meet us when ever. I would 100% recommend Foxtons. Thank you Molly :)

used to be good but ever since the intro of the renters rights acts, property management service has dropped off a cliff. This bad for landlords because they get poor management, bad for tenants because they get poor representation, and bad for the industry because estate / letting agents are no longer accountable.

GoogleThe sale became (unexpectedly) complex due to various issues including historical subsidence, tree preservation orders and an extremely pernickety buyer’s solicitor. The market is, obviously, also very challenging at the moment. As such, we were very grateful to have Foxtons’ (especially Tom Kennard) support, enthusiasm and professionalism to guide us through the process. We could not have asked for more from Tom - he was definitely worth more than Foxtons’ fee. Very highly recommended.

The house we rented was precisely what we desired, and it was offered at the price we had previously agreed upon. Despite being unable to personally inspect the property due to our location in a different country, the house matched the visuals depicted in the photographs flawlessly. We wholeheartedly recommend her services.

If you are a renter, please do not use Foxtons. They are a scammy horrible company that only serves the interests of the landlord. They rented us an overpriced disgusting dump by using old out-of-date photos in the rental ad, and locked us into an abusively restrictive contract that made it impossible to leave the horrible dump that ruined my mental health. Do yourself a favour and stay away from these money hungry scammers.

Extremely poor experience with Foxtons. We were left without proper cooking facilities for 25 days, which had a major impact on our daily life and forced us to spend extra money on food. A functioning cooker is a basic part of any home, yet this was not handled with the urgency it deserved.

From the very 1st time I contacted Foxtons to view property in Bickley Stephen has been in touch with every suitable property in the area. Very professional, dedicated and proactive. Nothing ever seemed to be a bother. Communication with vendors via Stephen always flawless. He has a very convincing approach and ability to listen to the customer.

GoogleWe engaged with Foxtons to find a tenant for our flat and our experience was very positive. Fay Foster was very efficient and professional and found us a suitable tenant within a couple of weeks. She walked us through the whole process and their portal is a great way to keep everything all in one place. Overall an excellent experience and we have asked them to fully manage the term of the tenancy.

GoogleStephen was showing us around a few properties and he was very attentive. Very lovely person to speak to. My elderly parents really got along with him and he was very professional and made us feel very comfortable when viewing these properties. Definitely great guy and Foxtons is very lucky to have him.

I've recently started renting from Foxtons. They are both the letting agent and the managing agent. I have never paid so much for such a bad service. None of the extractor fans work, my heating doesnt work, the curtain rods are bent and now one has fallen off & luckily no one got hurt because they have taken so long to resolve the issues. I'm wondering is this even legal?

I contacted ONE agent for a specific property viewing, and it has turned into a total nightmare. I am being hounded by at least FOUR different colleagues from this branch. The frequency is beyond unprofessional, I just received 2 calls in the span of 5 minutes.

As a landlord (don't hate me!) paying for a managed service, they tried to charge me £90 + vat to fix a meter door with two cable ties. This is typical, and I have to chase them repeatedly for everything. My tenants and I deserve better.
