From showing our property to multiple viewers, finding us a buyer, to supporting us through the entire sale process, Stephen was excellent. He was calm, patient, and supportive even to our seller, in order to keep the onward chain stable. Avoid, Avoid, Avoid. Based on my experience, I would advise new landlords to be extremely cautious with Foxtons. The agent’s explanations of commission and contract terms were unclear, and I ended up in a lengthy dispute over unexpected fees. Which is escalated to ombudsman and will probaly go to the court. Never trust a word of Foxton's agents. Always insist on written communication and carefully review all documents before signing. I would not recommend Foxtons to others based on my experience.
